Born in Liverpool, England, I went to school in Bootle; and a tough old school it was too – some of the teachers were bordering on psycho and my outstanding achievement of that period was surviving it. After leaving school, I went to work in the factories in the North West of England before eventually finding my calling.
Without Fergus is the second book of a semi-autobiographical series about growing up in Liverpool. This moving story moves deals with events that occurred in the engineering factories of North West England following the tragic death of Fergus. Characters are derived from real people and the events actually took place.
