Kathy’s Resource Page
We thought it would be most beneficial to put all of our recommendations for Kathy’s resources in one handy reference section here, at the publisher site. This way, we can ensure the list stays up-to-date with the best available tools and we can easily add to the list over the course of time as more tools become available.
Okay, so here we go …
1. Example Rebrandable Book
Download and study this book to understand the system laid out in my book Exactly How I Make Money on Quora. Take note of the give-away rights, the rebrand offer and the affiliate links at the end.
2. Getting Targeted Traffic
Quora is a brilliant site for getting targeted traffic to your free books. Make sure you provide a good original answer to a question. Periodically (not every time) link to your free book as a source of more information.
3. Hosting Your Files
You can host your files on your website or blog if you have them. If not, simply use Dropbox or Google Drive. If you have a Gmail account, you already have access to Google Drive. Click the dots at the top – it’s the little triangular icon.
4. KDP Publishing Account
Create an account with Kindle Publishing (KDP) for your paid books. They accept files in many formats including both native Word format and EPUB. You can set your own pricing and upload your cover graphic. It’s completely free and your book gets its own page on the Amazon site.
5. Book Covers
Use Canva for creating covers. It may take a short investment of your time to learn, but it is easy to use once you get the hang of it, and they have some great free templates to get you started too.
6. Amazon Associates Program
You can include Amazon affiliate links (to your own paid books) in your free books and make them rebrandable too. This ensures you continue to make money after your free book is rebranded.
7. Rebrander Software
The rebrander software I am actually using is Easy Viral Pdf Rebrander. It is very good but, to use it, you need your own website. The option below is more straightforward to use and its free to try for 30 days.
P.S. I hope you liked the photo of my cat Ernie 🙂
