21 Suggestions for Success

relationships with people you love and respect.

16. Be a self
starter.
17. Be decisive
even if it means you'll sometimes be wrong.
18. Stop blaming
others. Take responsibility for every area of your life.
19. Be bold and

you didn't do more than the ones you did.

21. Don't do
anything that wouldn't make your Mom proud.

1. Throw out
non-essential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the
doctor worry about them. That is why you pay him/her.
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down..
3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening,
whatever. Never let the brain idle. " An idle mind is the devil's
workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is
with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets,
keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish
your health: if it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't
take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, to the next county, to
a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
And always remember: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but
by the moments that take our breath away.

How to Stay Young
3 Pieces of Advice
Supposing
you had died and gone to the next place (wherever that is) & supposing
your consciousness was still intact. Now imagine you were sitting in the
waiting room of that place & you were introduced to the soul
(consciousness) of someone who was about to be born. You are told by a
beneficial presence that you are allowed to give three pieces of advice
to this soul.
Your advice
would remain within the sub-conscious of that person and would become an
important part of what that person would ultimately perceive as
conscience or inner-wisdom. What would your three pieces of advice be?
Here are the
thoughts of some people who have thought about this question. If you
would like yours added, please e-mail me.

1) Life is finite - that is what makes it so precious. Take time to
enjoy what you do, and treat every moment as a learning opportunity.
You'll never be able to predict when that information will come in
useful.
2) It is the people you meet, the hearts you touch and the minds you
shape that determines your place in history. Reach out and be remembered
for all the good things you did, and how you improved the lives of
others around you.
3) You are in total control of your own destiny. You are only restricted
by the impossible because you *think* it impossible. You can do anything
that you want to - but you must also be prepared to accept the
ramifications of your own actions.
Jeanette
1) Never give up
2) There's always hope
3) If there's no hope give up.
Shane Comer

as much as you can
2) Do as much as you need

1) Life is finite and too short to
spend being unhappy. Find something every day that makes you feel happy
and acknowledge that feeling. This might be a smile or a hug from a
loved one, a beautiful flower growing in your garden, a piece of music,
or maybe just your bus being on time in the morning. Give yourself the
opportunity to feel happy every day.
2) Sometimes your parents really do know best.
3) Dance, often. Even if you are no good at it and even if it is nowhere
else but in the privacy of your own house. It is a joyous and uplifting
thing to do.
Emma Luan Green
1) Treat other people as you wish to be treated, if you live by
this principle you cant go wrong.
2) Remember that you can't take anything material with you when you go
so this means that material things are not important, live for love not
for possessions.
3) Remember that people's hearts are precious and fragile so be careful
when you handle them and try not to break them.
