In a pre-sales role, was involved in the setting up of the Apricot Dealer Network and also, later, with the setting up of the Apricot International Distribution Network.

Service and repair of data-preparation, computer tape & card systems to component level. Was on-site engineer for Royal Insurance in Liverpool, solely responsible for maintaining their installation of some fifty workstations.
