Records Room
Recording & Displaying Your
Goals
The Records Room does not appear in Jack's
house; however, I have found it useful to have a place in the house where my Mission
Statement, Roles and Goals are displayed. Of course, these things do need to
be written down somewhere (physically); and this room is not a substitue for actually
writing them down but a Mission Statement can have no effect until it becomes
part of the software of your head; until you can articulate it accurately from memory and
emotionally commit yourself to achieveing it. So this is a place where you can review your
Mission Statement and current Goals against the 'future history' to
which you are working. You can consider whether or not your Roles and Goals
are the right ones for you & whether or not they are contributing to making your
'future history' a reality. It is also a place to record any affirmations you intend to
use for the purpose of expanding your self-image.
