Do you really think that living wealthy is all about having an abundance of money? What good is it if that's all you have?
Good health is greater than riches. Illness will keep us from enjoying life and cause us to spend our money for doctor visits, medications and treatments rather than on much needed vacations or a night out on the town. Good health is to be valued above money and material wealth.
And what price can be put on having a wealth of confidence and inner strength? They're priceless of course, being a direct result of having a strong sense of self, something of great value that money can't buy.
Having great depth of character takes refining and polishing through many determined steps of character development. The more we take on life by living our dreams and passions, the more defined our characters become, giving us clarity of mind when facing difficult situations or making the best decisions. So living wealthy is not just about money, but a quality of life.
It's a life where we can sleep peacefully every night and rest during the day from any fear of harm by believing in God's protection. It's a faith that no matter what is happening around us we'll overcome and get through with great success.
Living wealthy every day is achieved through this inner development which separates who we really are from the sometimes false exteriors we've developed along the way to survive. As we smooth those rough edges we become wealthy in our perception of the world. We see it's beauty instead of the perversions that exterior wealth can sometimes create through greed and over consumption.
That beauty clarifies our thoughts that become as fine jewels as we act upon them, bringing us honor and respect through our words by always speaking the truth and standing behind what we say. Integrity and respect become the real value of our lives and our identity, bringing us a wealth of opportunity from those whose trust we've gained.
Inner wealth allows us freedom to give of ourselves without restriction. We become rich with love when we give it freely to our families, friends, and all others whose lives we touch. Easily it comes back to us in abundance through lasting relationships that bless our lives and enrich our souls with fulfillment and purpose.
So as we mix inner growth with money, we get a well-rounded picture of wisdom and opportunity that produces success.
Foolishly I used to think it wrong to have money and many times distrusted people who were financially wealthy even when my feelings couldn't be validated. But it eventually occurred to me that having a consistent growth and flow of money is a reward of inner growth that shouldn't be denied, but instead embraced.
As we enjoy the financial fruits of living first from the inside out, our money will have more depth, we'll have more power and control over it, and those in our presence will be blessed by the opportunities we can afford them through living wealthy
