Inspiration - Personal Development at its Best!
Sunday, 21 June 2009

Many people have dreams, yet only a small percentage of those persons
get past the discovery phase to begin the development stage.  However,
only a small
percentage of those persons go full circle with their goals to realize
their intended success.

Destiny discovery and development doesn't have to be difficult; we
just need to relax and let our dreams come alive through our
individual expression. Sadly,
the majority of jobs require little creativity or innovative thinking
from the employees who work them.  This can dry up or stifle one's
ability to operate within the "out of the box" mentality.

If you feel that your job or career has stolen your ability to be
creative, don't dismay.  Everyone is able to develop a rich
imagination and creative mind to become all they were meant to be.

One way to do this is to reach deep within the core of your being for
unique and clever ideas.  To begin this process, take a few minutes
each day to meditate quietly and be alone.  Let all thoughts and
problems go for the moment.

As you progress into the develop stage, make sure that you've narrowed
your idea enough to specialize in it and make you known as an expert
at it.  And don't
be afraid to put a new and refreshing spin on already "tried and true"
ideas.  You can make them your own by giving them an honest and new
approach from your
experience, passion, and personal touch.

Another important step is to renew your mind from average thinking.
Separate yourself from the world to remain in touch with your own
ideas.  Keep your dream big in expectation while you narrow it to your
own thoughts and research in the beginning stages. Exposing your idea
or ideas to others too soon may
influence you to move in the wrong direction.

I'm not telling you to close yourself off from the world.  It's
actually more stifling to be lonely. After all, what good are ideas
and opinions if we have no one to share them with or challenge us?
Separating yourself from others will make your ideas and dreams
useless.

It's important that you care about people, exchanging ideas with them
and listening to their feedback, but it's also prudent that you not
unveil your new ideas or dreams while they're still in the discovery
and development stages. This will keep you from trusting your inner
guidance and practicing creative thinking.

People tend to advise or admonish others to make decisions based upon
their experience or the experiences of others.  We're all different
and what might work for one person may not be right for someone else.
And there's always the person who we look up to that has the power to
destroy our dreams with just a few
discouraging words.

So always protect your dreams in the beginning stages of their
development to keep them pure and ready for the best direction that
only you can give them based upon study, reflection and ultimately
your inner guidance.
