Inspiration - Personal Development at its Best!
Thursday, 18 June 2009

I hope you love yourself because if you don't you'll have little hope
for success. You must believe in yourself in order to give your
dreams life.

Rather than wasting time with self-doubt and self-limiting
assumptions, change your direction by developing the mindset of
possibility that you can do all things. Doubt will only keep what you
want from ever being realized by perpetuating itself through failure,
fear and disappointment.

If you want a bleak future, stand by and let doubt and all of it's
components take control of your destiny. Be prepared to say good-bye
to your dreams while you complain that nothing ever works out right
for you.

Excuses only cover the fact that you're not committed to having
success. You've got to desire with all your heart whatever it is in
life you desire to attain. This can happen when you have a strong
belief that you deserve the best life possible. There's no other way
to do this than to just change your thinking immediately no matter how
you feel. Eventually that change will become natural and a permanent
condition.

Then you can reach for your dreams. Go slowly, setting goals and
working them. If you rush, you'll soon give up and find yourself
chasing "the impossible dream." Begin patiently with baby steps that
will eventually grow larger and closer together.

If you're impatient because you need more money or you need to prove
that you're important, your dreams will elude you. So protect them
with another means of income and pull in the reins of excess spending
as you begin. And don't allow your insecurities to drive you to
embellish your efforts beyond your current state of accomplishment.
You'll lose the respect of others and cause yourself to get the wrong
perspective of success.

Consistently work the goals you've created and give them the time they
need to grow, envisioning their progress and the desired outcome you
wish to achieve. Be ready and willing to do many difficult tasks
you'd rather not do. If this is your passion, you should work
whatever tasks necessary with great joy.

So bond with each goal you set in order to establish a deep and
intimate relationship with your dreams. You can do this with a little
introspective examination. Spend about twenty minutes or more each
day until you have some understanding of your life goals. Then write
them down. Under one header list, "things you know you can do."
Under another header write, "things you might be able to do." And
under a third header list, "things impossible for you to do."

Strive each day to accomplish the goals that are under the header,
"things you know you can do." Check them off as you accomplish them.
After you have completed all the goals under this header, continue to
the next header and complete in the same way. When you're ready,
begin accomplishing the goals under the last header, "things
impossible for you to do."

As you continue through this process your goals will direct you and
keep you focused. Your consistent work and effort will be leading you
to higher and higher realms of success as you find that the goals you
believed impossible are actually easier to accomplish than you
thought. This simple exercise is going to help you to always aim high
no matter how impossible your goals.
