If you're waiting for your dreams to happen, I've got BAD news for you! They don't have a life of their own. You've got to breathe life into them similar to the process of giving birth. Babies don't just pop into the world from nothing. They're fed and nurtured for about nine months by their mothers before their successful journey into the world.
The same goes for our dreams. We have to nurture and put life into them before they come into the world screaming out our success. Without our action dreams are quiet and docile things waiting to be claimed by their owners. At times they're ready to explode, but they lack power on their own to be expressed, so they just keep their place and wait until they become lost within a dark void from our neglect.
When most of us are young we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. But as our lives continue our dreams remain just that – dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust on the shelves of our imaginations without much hope of realization. Can you just imagine how our dreams must feel? If you can, you've got a good enough imagination and that's something you're going to need.
Use it to override the circumstances you believe are holding back your success. For example, don't see yourself as too old but "young thinking" instead. Don't see poverty, see a financial outlet for your interest or hobby.
Of course, I understand that a specific dream might have physical conditions you may not be able to meet, but you can shift your dreams to match your present situation and condition, so there's no excuse to be passive any longer.
That's right! Believe it or not we all have more than one dream that can set our hearts on fire when released, so there's always something great ready to happen from within our hearts if we take the time to experience exciting adventures in self-realization.
How about taking the time to really get to know yourself? If you do, you'll discover a really interesting person – YOU! You'll discover what you really want to do and how you're going to do it. Talk about meeting new friends, you've got one within you – the real you, and that friend is going to help you realize your dreams or passion.
Life can be so much better than the hum-drum existence we limit ourselves to if we learn to aim higher than our comfort zones by expecting great things to happen and then doing our part to accomplish them.
Just think about the bumblebee that baffled scientists when they theorized that it was impossible for it to fly. Yet, it continues to fly against all scientific reasoning because flying is a part of it's purpose. You've got to find yours and defy all reasoning against your success. If a little bee can do it, well you can too! So spread your wings and sour to great heights through your fulfilled dreams and passions.
