Avatar I have not as yet had the opportunity to see this film so excuse me if I err in some of of my comments not from ignorance but from not having all of the facts, however seldom in life do we have all of the facts while many times making life or death decision for ourselves and others. Military leaders do it every day.

I spend many hours a day on my computer, reading studying and just generally surfing at times. While doing that this morning I came upon an article by a lady about the movie "Avatar" which was an extremely complimentary article about the movie as she speaks about the controversies surrounding the movie.

Being from the Los Angeles / Hollywood area we here know it is controversy that as she says in the article "puts butts in the seats'. So many controversies over a movie.

Which brings me back to my own belief which I believe is proven time and time again in scriptures from the Bible to the Koran to the Bhagavad-Gita being that life is nothing but personal belief and perception. As we believe so it is.

Napoleon Hill said it so well "What the mind of man can believe and conceive the mind of man can achieve".

As I look around me at the wonderful world we live in today as I did while riding the metro rail from Long Beach to downtown Los Angeles after the bus from my harbor city to Long Beach I marvel at how and what men have perceived and conceived. From the towering buildings of Long Beach and Los Angeles to the Watts Towers, which are a miracle in themselves.

For those of you that have no idea of what the Watts Towers are: Columbia Encyclopedia entry: Watts Towers Watts Towers, group of folk-art towers in the Watts section of Los Angeles. The complex was built (192154) single-handedly by the self-taught Italian immigrant Simon Rodia (also spelled Rodilla, 18791965). Of varying heights (the tallest is nearly 100 ft/30 m high) and shapes, they are enigmatic and extraordinarily fanciful structures, sculptural in appearance and reminiscent ! of Anton io Gaudí's imaginative architecture. Elegant monuments to Rodia's inventiveness and industry, they are constructed of steel, stone, and cement, often in a kind of filigree, and inlaid with found objects such as china shards, bits of glass, seashells, and bottle caps in a multitude of patterns. Once considered an eyesore and threatened with demolition, the complex was eventually recognized as a significant work of art and designated a national landmark. Damaged by the 1994 earthquake, the towers underwent extensive renovations from 1995 to 2001.

After that bit of history back to what I was saying; this is a beautiful world we live in. I am so blessed to be here at this stage of my life for I have come to love LA the city of angels and it most certainly is.

Avatar appears to be a marvelous piece of entertainment which brings me to the heart of what I want to say. It is entertainment so we take from it what we will. As one of my mentors and teachers in the past pastor Jeff use to say 'chew up the chicken and spit out the bones.'

This is actually how I live my life I take from whatever sources are useful to me and discard the rest. Doesn't mean I may not come back at a later time and rethink my earlier choices and pick up those I threw away for I am an evolving individual that does not stay the same. I am not the same yesterday, today and forever nor would I want to be.

Nor would I want to live in a static never changing Universe for change is what keeps us alive and growing as individuals. It is when we get stuck in a never changing rut we allow ourselves to become prime candidates for senility and other mind disorders.

Mental health is about using your mind to grow a life while enjoying that life as you are growing. Learning that yesterday is gone while tomorrow has not arrived we are to make this moment and every one we are ever in the best it can possibly be as we remember to love ourselves and all of those around us.

Emotions

Emotions Sitting here with tears in my eyes as I write this on my laptop, tears yes of happiness and also of sadness.

Have you ever, ever read a book that you got so into, so involved with the characters that you did not want it to end, ever. It got to where I would only read it over my meal, at Subway every day, the better to stretch it out. Until, I got to the end and then I just had to finish it this morning. For the last chapter I cried like a baby with an emotion that actually in a way shocked me. It is not unusual for me to be emotional like this for there are times even in an event like a football or basketball game, a commercial or a book I get emotional. It does not have to be a "Spiritual" book or event it can be anything that rings a bell from deep within.

This time it was Tribute by Nora Roberts. Yes, yes, yes I read Nora Roberts. I have for several years now as I find them at garage yard sales, flea markets as I can get to them. Of course Salvation Army and Goodwill as well as any thrift store or used book store I may find, or yes, our local library. Well actually not my local one as the one I go to in Redondo Beach, CA is not only awesome, it is also on the bus line.

Let me recommend to you Nora Roberts for in her books come through a love for her art and the knowledge that it is a passion for her work that one knows she loves what she is doing. Not only that she is either a great researcher which I believe her to be but she is an extremely metaphysical person. For in her writings there is a thread through all of them of a love of life as well as a knowledge of Universal principles. When I read one of her books and this is a standalone novel. Many times the ones I read are part of a series and I as a rule will not start the series unless I have all of them available. Of course with the Internet here my bookstore is only as far away as my keyboard. So I have one that is book one and I really just realized I can begin it anytime as I can just go to one of m! y book s ites and order the other two or reserve it at the library.

Emotions are so good for us as they serve many functions in our life. The main one is to serve as a meter as to where we are in manifestation of anything we desire for the more emotion we focus on anything the faster it manifests whether it is that new house, car or relationship. Maybe it is a raise or even a new opportunity. The more emotion we focus on the happiness of the opportunity whatever it may be the sooner it will appear. Also if for some reason it appears the opportunity went to someone else who we felt did not deserve it and we vented anger even if we did it silently with no one knowing it but us. While outwardly we smiled and did all the things to appear happy for them as we inwardly simmered and boiled anger for this person that 'stole' our opportunity. As we do this one must realize that the more emotion is placed into it that not only will we not get another opportunity like this we may never get another one until we can correct our emotions.

That is why so many times we see an event and one person while smiling appears to go downhill afterwards and never appears to get back on track until they do their forgiveness work starting with themselves as it always does. The thing to remember is that if it is our opportunity we cannot lose it and if it is not ours we can not get it without stealing it and if we do that it will not last as it will eventually be lost, usually sooner than later.

If on the other hand we appear to have lost an opportunity we, of course, feel disappointment. It is only to be expected to feel the disappointment. However, even feeling disappoint knowing this must not have been OURS we proceed to congratulate the person receiving the opportunity with happiness and gratitude in our heart know OURS is coming. The thing is to be genuinely happy for the person receiving it as we continue working ! toward O UR opportunity for it WILL come. Never quitting is the key for history is filled with people that stopped short of the goal to only find out later that with just a little more faith with persistence the goal would have been theirs.

That is why I will never stop loving and believing in YOU for I never want YOU to stop loving and Believing in ME for the goal is just ahead and I am so close that I know it is mine sooner or later. If not this time then the next or the next or when mine is there I will receive. Blessings to all

Excited

One of the most important things a person can do for themselves is to find something to get excited about. For over three years I have sat being a hermit as I healed and allowed Spirit to rebuild me. During that three years I utilized every tool I knew to self hypnotize me as I meditated, studied , reflected and worked on being a better more improved me. I allowed myself to be almost totally destroyed through personal events then during the past three years I torn myself down even below my foundation and began rebuilding me until I could once again face the public.

Heartbreak is a strange thing it can destroy you or give you a new lease on life. In the long run I receive a new lease on life. I am excited about having the opportunity to once again be a part of a ministry. I have found a wonderful Spiritualist church that has just opened its arms and allowed me to be a part of their rebuilding and restructuring. It has given me the opportunity to once more be a part of something outside of myself. It is a volunteer position on their staff. It also allows me to use many of my speaking, counseling talents as well. My first job is to get their web site back up as well as to just generally assist the pastor in whatever she may require. Spiritually, It is so important that once we take care of ourselves that we then begin to take care of others.

Like in an airplane as they explain the emergency procedures they emphasize that if it is necessary to use the oxygen mask that first you get your mask on prior to attempting to assist someone else. You must take care of you so you CAN take care of others. In our culture we are taught to take care of everyone else first then look after ourselves. We must take care of ourselves so we can take care of others. A sick mother can not look after her family unless she is well herself.

Although their a few health issues still to clear up my mind is healed and it is time for me to get out and help others to the extent I can at this time. Many times it i! s just o ne's own presence and support that is needed as well as the physical labor they may provide. I know that I have a lot to offer any organization as well as any lady that may find me. Once I let Spirit know I was ready to do something I was lead to one group that lead me to another.

This such a wonderful journey when we just relax and allow Spirit to lead us. Spirit will never lead me wrong as long as I allow Spirit to do the leading. It never violates my free will for I can follow or not. It is my choice. Sometimes Spirit says sit down and rest or wait for it is not your time YET. Follow Spirit truly and Spirit will lead truly for as we give or do so do we receive. Right now I am giving to you my love and belief for I do love and believe in YOU

Change

Change The funny thing about life is that the only constant in life is CHANGE. Yes Change is the only constant there is in our entire life. One thing we know for sure is things will change and one of the old sayings is "This too shall pass". Yes no matter what it is it will pass and become something else.

With this in mind then I often wonder why some of us work so hard for security when there is no such thing except that security that is found within each and every one of us for the only one that can be counted on is ourselves and Spirit.

There again that is not a truth that is merely belief and perception as I see it for I really do not believe there is such an animal as truth for what is true today may change tomorrow.

Truth is truly belief and perception. It may be believed by the entire world but that is only their belief as when the world was believed by most to be flat and that the earth was the center of the universe. Both of these were truths that have long been proven wrong.

The truth is merely what one believes and perceives to be true and may only be true for them. If it works for them it doesn't matter if anyone else believes it or not.

Whatever your beliefs if they are working for you don't worry about what anyone may say until they can show you a better way and you try it and it works for you otherwise just say thank you and continue on your way as your were.

We may not be islands unto ourselves but we are the center our universe and ambassadors for that universe to make our life the very best it can be for if we are not adept at mixing with others in their universe then our universe will be taken over by someone else.

It is more important than ever that we learn the skills necessary to negotiate with others for the best for all and harm to none.

Again change is the only constant and the more we fight against change the harder we make it not only for ourselves but those around us.

There does come a time to say you are! right a nd I will do my best to adjust to the new situation. I have learned to pick my battles instead of constantly fighting everyone around me for when I do that there is no one left to assist me in the change which will happen anyway. It is my job to see that whatever change is happening is truly inevitable and if it isn't to see if I may actually want it and if so then work to make it happen and if not then work to see it doesn't happen but in all ways work for the good of all and the harm of none to the best of my abilities.

The one thing I do know that will not change is that I love and believe in YOU

A New Relationship

Sitting here this morning kind of excited about the possibility of a new relationship have not actually met the lady just a few days emailing and once talking on the phone. For some reason I really am not comfortable on the phone with most people yet I felt very comfortable talking with her last night. I must have, for we talked for an hour and 4 minutes according to my cell phone records.

She seems to be just what I am looking for so why am I still nervous. Well, there is probably 30 to fifty miles between us and I am not driving at this time so distance may be a problem then again nothing is a problem unless one makes it one.

I am relaxing into Spirit and will allow Spirit to guide me into and through this if it is to be it's will. It is times like this Spirit says 'ok you teach it, now you live it trust me to guide you'. The more I live in Spirit the more I learn to let go and let Spirit do it.

Still I feel like a teenager about to go on their first date and not having any idea how to act or to be. So Spirit says to be myself but what is that exactly I am not what I was though I am more than I ever was. Just go with the flow, Appreciate her for who she is and know that if it is to be nothing can stop it and if it isn't to be nothing can make it happen. Relax and enjoy if Love is inevitable bring it on if not then oh well the right one is there waiting for me to get me right. As Marianne Williamson says if your Princess came along what makes you think she would want you the way you are.

Well, I have worked hard on myself and yes there is still work to be done and will always be work to be done but hey I am pretty fine catch for someone as I am now.

As I think Walter Brenan once said 'no brag, just fact'.

That is truly how I feel about me for I clean up very nicely. You can actually take me most anywhere and I can converse with most anyone on most any subject.

As you can tell the thing I need to work on mostly is confidence for I have always said the only difference between good and championship with all other things equal is confidence. Being able to forget the last mistake and concentrate on the now confident that you are all that is needed for success and that you are more than you know yourself to be or even what you may think yourself to be for no matter what you may believe you are for more than you could ever possibly imagine for you are fantastically great and wonderful and even more than that for your are you and you are the great I AM that I Am.

Remember all of that and also remember that I love and believe in you and even more than that I appreciate you.

Mr. Know It All

The older I get the more I study and learn the more I realize how little I actually know. I spend hours studying, meditating, doing self hypnosis. The more I learn the more I realize how much there is out to know and that one person can never know it all.

Having said all that I shall continue my studies into whatever interests I may have for as I do I invariably discover untruths among things I had held as beliefs that when held up to the light of study were just as bogus as the world being flat or that the Earth is the center of the Universe. I sure that saying that didn't destroy any of your beliefs for if you are reading me any at all then I believe you must be above average in intelligence and want the best for yourself and all of those around you with harm to none at all times.

I know that you are the type that when you go to any type of meeting you do so with your brain and mind intact and not check at the door or left at home. It is alright to take something on faith as long as it isn't tied into unloosing your wallet.

Don't get me wrong giving is good and important in the scheme of things the thing is to give wisely to organizations that actually help people or do it directly to people or families you may know

Yes, there are street people I will give to, not every time for them they come to expect it but I give to them when I feel it is right. I rely on my guides telling me when and yes there are even times when I have given a twenty to a street person.

It is not my responsibility what they or anyone does with my gift once it is out of my hands then it is the responsibility of the person to use it correctly then that is on them.

I love to give for the feeling is wonderful. I love receiving also for I know that as I receiving I am giving a gift to the person giving and that is almost as good as giving itself. As the Frito Bandito once said tis better to give than receive so give. I love that.

Service is an area that is greatly! overloo ked volunteering much as I do when doing these articles there is no compensation received or given so it is given from the heart from me to you. Like all things it is worth exactly what it costs you however I would hope that you get half as much out of it as I do doing it. For there are times that I find Spirit talking to me from the pages and words that I am writing.

I truly believe that Spirit talks to me as I am writing allowing you to be a part of it for at times as I go back and read what I have written especially several months later I find that I am amazed at what I had written and I say to myself I did that.

Anyway know that I love what I do and I love doing it for you for I love and believe in each of you.

The New Year Starts

Yes, here we are in a New Year. I am actually so happy I can hardly stand myself. On Christmas Eve just past my laptop was stolen and I have sent blessings to those that have it. On January the 3rd I found an almost identical one in a pawn shop the only difference is this one has an upgraded office and Vista ultimate. I love them both.

I am still learning how to use the upgraded office, but I love what I know how to use and it is fun discovering the new features and things I can do with it.

The hardest part was letting go of my old computer I would not have done it voluntarily and moan the loss of many of the books I had purchased on it. The good thing is that just a day or two prior to losing it I had done a backup so most of the things were not lost, however many of my books that I had just purchased were lost.

I give thanks for having had the old computer and give thanks for the new one and also give thanks for the old standby desktop that ! kept me going until my new love came along.

Releasing and letting go with thanks, gratitude and appreciation are all so important to moving forward in life. Without the release there can be no forward movement. What a lesson to learn for it is true in all parts of our life until we release there is no forward movement.

That is why at this moment I choose to release anything from my life that is holding me back from moving forward no matter who or what it may be. I release it all with thanks, appreciation and gratitude for the good it brought to my life however since it no longer serves the highest good of all concerned I release them now and forever more never to allow them into my life in their present forms.

Gee, that feels really good and I recommend that we all do this as this new year kicks off. I also have made the decision to be a striver and thriver and not just a survivor.

I am starting a new era of my life where I accept ! new things and new people into my life and am not afraid to d! iscard t he old and allow my entire life to move forward.

I let go of all old beliefs that no longer serve my highest good as well as any ideas that no longer serve me or my highest good. I release them and allow them to be replace by ideas and ideas that serve me and my highest good and so it is.

I allow the Spirit of love to lead me in all things as I follow my heart to the happiness I deserve in all areas of my life with abundance and prosperity to share with all.

I accept this and allow it to be so in my life for the highest good and harm to none and so it is and so it is and so it IS.

2010 Cometh

By the time this is edited and put online it will probably be 2010. So much has happened this year in hospital out hospital 3 times on walker, cane and then to walk freely. Most of us take walking for granted however not a day goes by that I do not give thanks to able to walk again. To lie in ones body and not be able to move is not a feeling I want to ever experience again. To be able to get up out of my chair without assistance is a great feeling. To be able to walk a good distance is a blessing.

Today if nothing else I want to give thanks gratefully and with much appreciation for all the good in my life. Even the loss of my laptop last week gives me the opportunity to open the door for a new one. I may not know where or how it is coming all I have to know is that it is coming and coming quickly also.

What does the New Year offer well let me see now I am starting classes on the first Sunday of January toward becoming ordained as a Spiritualist minister. I believe there is a companion in my near future. I see my self growing in wisdom and knowledge. I see myself as being more open and approachable in the New Year. I see myself once again teaching and counseling more
than I ever have before. I see so many good things not only for me but for the entire population. I see myself as flowing more easily with Spirit than ever before. I see myself leading more and more groups in healing and learning more about Spirit.

There is so much ahead for all of us it is almost impossible for me to put it down here in the space I have to use. I see a new mode of transportation available to the public for the first time. I see love blossoming as never before. AI see unprecedented peace across the world. I see world leaders coming together in meaningful communication with one another. I see break throughs in mental science and in mental travel.

I see a world of light and happiness replacing a world of sadness and sorrow. I see smiles instead of frowns. I see goodness everywhere. I see you happier than you have ever been. I see you more prosperous and abundant than ever before. I see a world that I am happy to be in.

I know this to be sure here and now that I love and believe in each and everyone of you.

Christmas Day 2009 Is Coming

That special day that many look forward to all year long is nearing closer and closer. Day after tomorrow and it will be her in all of its glory and pageantry. It doesn't matter what your idea or reason for celebrating the day is the fact of it is it is a very special day in which millions of people around the world will be celebrating it.

What makes it so special is that it brings families and friends together when for many it may be the only day of the year they get to see one another because of living and being in different parts of the world but on that one day each year we make a special effort to be with out loved ones and family.

I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of those that have and do stand with me through thick and thin.

I also want to thank White Dove Books for the opportunity to write my thoughts each week and actually see them published.

It really doesn't matter what your beliefs may be for in the end your beliefs are just that your beliefs and it isn't mine or anyone else's business what those beliefs are.

I just want to ask one thing of you this Christmas season. What I WANT each and everyone of us to do, myself included, is to sit down alone, with our own thoughts, and see if what we believe, no matter is something we chose to believe or if it was given to us by others and told this is what we are to believe.

I encourage you to do this with each and every belief we have to see if they or truly ours or if someone many years ago when we were children told us this is what we are to believe which we accepted with out questions for this was our parents, teachers, ministers or some one else in authority.

Examine each and every belief no matter what it may be and see if it serves us well or if it in some way is limiting us or holding us back. We are the magic and anyone that tells us different to not there for our best.

Take control of your life this Christmas and no that it is what Christmas is! all abo ut of being the very best YOU can possibly be. Look in the mirror and see a wonderful, powerful, beautiful, loving, caring person there for that is what I see when I see you.

Let me again take this opportunity to wish you of you the happiest, most joyful and abundant Christmas's and New Years you have ever known

Zone - In The Zone

How many times have we heard of an athlete being in the zone as they accomplished great things in a game or event. To be in the zone is to be in an area of our mind where we release our normal actions to being and doing abnormal or almost super being accomplishments.

One as a rule does not turn the zone on and off like a switch it usually comes when one loses themselves entirely to the moment and just does what needs to be done.

It was amazing to witness as I was privileged to watch Kobe Bryan of the Lakers put up 81 points of personal scoring against the Toronto Rqptors.

Anything he put up anywhere in the direction of the basket went in. an amazing display of scoring by a dedicated, talented athlete in2006. Only one many in the history of the NBA ever scored more in one game and that was Wilt Chamberlain in the early part of the 20th century.

To be in the zone is the dream of every athlete as they compete.

As I said earlier it only comes when one loses one self completely in the moment. I have had moments in my writing where it was like someone else was doing the writing as the thoughts flew onto the screen as my fingers flashed with a speed and accuracy I had never known before.

When it is over you are a little dazed as you look at what was accomplished and in my case I ask myself did I truly write this?

It is a great feeling as you are doing it for everything you do is great and accomplished with grace and ease.

You ask how can I get into the zone and the only answer I know to give is to totally dedicate your self to the moment of what ever you are doing to the point you totally immerse and lose your self to the moment.

That is all I can say about how to do it. Just Complete dedication to the moment. And that is not a bad way to live a life is it. Just imagine if you were to totally dedicate yourself to anything. Would there be anything you could not accomplish or do. Dedication with enthusiasm will get you what ever yo! u desire . Yes, even that.

Yes, I Can And Will Survive

I am in the process of putting together my Life A to Z a survivors guide to LIFE when I realize there were no essays with a Y or Z title so here is the Y. But it is true I can and will survive as I have proven for sixty six almost sixty seven years. The thing of it is I am tired of surviving I am ready to begin living again.

Gun shot, strokes, heart attacks, broken heart and relationships, lost businesses, friendships all of these and so much more I have survived when others didn't and haven't. So, why and how was it I survived?

Why, I really have no idea unless my work here isn't finished yet is what I think to be so.

How, either I was to dumb to know I couldn't or to smart not to.

Any way I have never stayed down, maybe out for a while but never stayed down. This past four years has been the longest that I have allowed my self to heal. Mostly it has been a time of tearing out the old and installing the new.

I was destroyed all the way down to and below the foundation of my being. It was as if a Bomb had gone off and it was the big one for it destroyed all but my Spirit.

The only reason it wasn't destroyed was because My Spirit and THE SPIRIT or one and the same. It was that discovery that saved me.

So, even though I was down I was finished. Destroyed in mind and body but not in Spirit.

Really what has been created cannot be completely destroyed ever.

With no foundation left and every belief I ever had destroyed I had to rebuild every thing and that included my foundation.

This time with Spirit as my architect and co builder there was no way to go wrong.

I followed Spirit and allowed it to show me the way. I am still building and still following.

I had to learn that what others think of me is none of my business that is there challenge. Mine is to keep my mind clear and on Spirit as I am thankful, grateful and appreciative.

My only job is to love as I love my self and to do unto others as I woul! d have them do unto me as I strive to show them there is a better life ahead for all of us. My job is to love and believe in them as they love and believe in me only to do it first.

I am to give so it will be given. I am to receive so that I can give. I am to be an example to all as to how to survive, overcome and then live.

So know that I love and believe in each and every one of you.

Truth Or The Lack Therof

This subject is a minefield of sorts. Everyone wants to know the 'Truth' or is seeking the truth or wants to tell you the truth. The thing is there is no such thing as 'the' truth or any truth for that matter. All there ever is is belief and perception. As one believes so it is. As one believes in their heart so is it.

Only believing makes it so. This is a hard thing to attempt to tell people for everyone wants the truth. Although, this way actually makes it easier for everyone, decide what the truth is for you and allow it to be so. There isn't that easier?

A lie is only a lie if you think it is. There is not a person on the face of the earth that I have ever met that hasn't told me a lie at one time or another and we both know it.

I strive to truthful in my dealings for as we do to others so do they unto us. Yes, I am sure I have lied in my life especially if my lady ask me if those pants made her butt look big and truthfully it didn't MAKE it look big for it usually was and they knew it or they would not have asked the question.

There again as every attorney knows never ask a question you do not want an answer to.

Also as every attorney knows for every answer they can find someone to give the exact opposite answer.

Once again there is no such thing as 'truth'. Truth is as I said a matter of perspective or belief. As one believes so it is to them.

I can think the day is wonderful while to another it may be terrible as to a third person it is merely okay.

Really there will be few people that want to hear what I am saying today not that they disagree they just do not want to hear it.

That is why when I look at my life I see it as wonderfully productive, positive, caring and loving of it I see it that way that is how it will be.

If I were to see it as bitterly awful, non productive and terrible why that it is what it would be and who wants to live that kind of life.

The Word tells us that by the words of OUR mo! uth we a re blessed or cursed. How very accurate that is.

As we believe so it is. If that is so and it is then why not believe the very best that there is?

We create our own lives by our thoughts, words, and actions. If we believe our life is good it is and if we believe it isn't then that also is correct.

Believe with me the very best always for ourselves and all others for what we wish for others is what we receive for our selves.

For now know and believe that I love and believe in each and every one of YOU.

Announcement To The Universe

Today I realized a great realization that my recuperation was over and complete. Yes, for today I announced to the Universe that I was ready and available to accept the perfect Senior Minister opportunity of a non denominational or metaphysical ministry as soon as it opened for me and I became aware of it. This will not be volunteer, associate, or assistant type position but one that I can use my full administrative, organizational and people skills to grow and motivate a lively ministry.

This will be a ministry that will be in area I love and enjoy with wonderful, happy, fulfilled families and Singles that I can guide and motivate in today's changing Consciousness.

It is amazing how it seem to come out of the blue. All of a sudden I just knew it was time and to use this Space to allow Spirit to know that was aware and ready to accept the position and to go where Spirit calls and makes the way possible. For in the apparent state of things if it isn't local and on a bus route I wouldn't be able to accept but I know that when Spirit opens the door Spirit provides for all eventualities.

Here I am Spirit use me as you will. I am ready to go for I give thanks that this is an instance of being refired instead of being retired. Yes, Use me and allow me to know without a doubt what my role is to be.

I know Spirit will provide the finances and anything else that may be required and it will all be with grace and ease. Again, thank you Spirit for awakening and opening my consciousness to the possibility of this happening to and for me now.

To anyone any where, although southern California would be nice, if you would like me to come and speak before your Pastor Selection Committee just let me know and we shall work out the arrangements.

My POV

Or Point of View if you will. Every once in a while I sit here in my big comfortable recliner with my laptop in my lap while I make an attempt at explaining how I see the Spiritual Life or Journey.

You see it is all a matter of perspective which as a matter of fact is what life is for what ever one thinks of life is exactly what it is for THEM.

I look on the Spiritual Journey as involving every aspect of life for to me there is not a spot where Spirit is not. Every thing and every event is Spiritual from putting my socks on in the morning to making love in the evening which I believe brings us closer to Spirit than any other thing we can do up to and including prayer.

There again it is perspective and our point of view as to what anything is. My point of view is no more relevant or true than yours may be for it is merely my point of view. The only difference is I am willing to put it out before potentially millions of people to read.

I see every event as Spirit talking to me and I am making an attempt to be able when an event happens to be able to step back view it and say interesting and allowing it to stay neutral as it is with out my labeling it one thing as another. For there are only neutral events that stay that way
until someone chooses to label them this or that, right or wrong.

We have no control over the events in our lives only the way we handle them is the only control we have over anything out side of ourselves.

Control of our emotions is supposed to be in our bag of tools, however, the older I get it seems there are times my emotions are totally out of my control. I find tears coming more and more often as I witness the things that happen around me.

The odd part these tears are seldom for me as much as those around me. I have never in life felt the emotion of love so strong as I do now. When I son stood in front of me telling me that his mother was in the hospital with a possible heart attack there is no expressing the Love that I felt in my heart for her. She brought in to the world truly the only really good things that I have ever contributed to.

What makes it even more amazing is that about the time she was going through this event I was here at my computer placing her name again on my website's healing page.

Even though she has been with someone else for about fifteen years there is still a bond there.

My ever thought and prayer go out to her for her complete healing.

I know that each one of us no matter who we are or where we are in life is there because of our own thoughts, words and actions. We are actually lying in the bed of our own creation.

We and no one else write, direct and act in the movie that is our life. As Bill S. said the whole world is a stage and we are merely players on that stage.

I trust this helps some of you that a times wonder where in the world I am coming from which is total self responsibility.

In that I want all of you to know that I totally Love and Believe in each and every one of you.

Something Wonderful

Every once in a while there is an event in our life that we know will change it for ever. Yesterday was such an event. Started the day by taking a long bus ride to Long Beach and then an even longer Metro rail ride to union Station in Los Angeles where I was picked up by two friends and taken to the even which was our monthly Healing Circle. Only this month we had planned to celebrate the season with a smuging ceremony, meditation and tarot party.

I had offered to do readings for the group which I did all afternoon and if everyone had as good a time as I did then a great time was had by all.

Tarot readings are a wonderful way to get to know someone. The reader has to be cautious however not to program the one being read into self fulfilling prophecies. Also when reading someone in front of a group the reader must be discreet in what they reveal for there are things that is no one's business but the one being read for.

Actually I prefer one on one readings. They I can reveal and assist the one I am reading for. It has been a while since I have done this many readings all at one time however it reminded me of my mission here which is to assist in the healing of our planet one client at a time. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and it really gave a huge boost in ego and in the confidence of my gifts and abilities.

It shall be interesting to see where this leads me from here although I do believe this is the beginning of something wonderful.

As we believe so it is and so it is.

Giving is so important that many times we forget to receive. Receiving is important in that we give others the opportunity of a blessing and when we refuse a gift we are refusing to allow the other person to receive a blessing.

By giving we also open the channels for receiving our own blessings.

So many times many of us lock down the channels of receiving by refusing to accept gifts when offered by others. What we are doing is closing down the channels Spirit has chosen to send us our blessings and then many times we wind up wondering why Spirit doesn't bless us when all the time we are refusing the blessings by our own actions.

Giving and receiving are just opposite sides of the same coin. To give is to receive. To receive is to give.

To receive a blessing we must be a blessing.

To receive love we must first give love.

What many people do not realize is that the one we must first give to is ourselves prior to ever giving to others. What we are doing to ourselves we are doing for others and what we are doing for others we are doing for ourselves.

Knowing Those Around Us

Many times I hear people say if they only knew what those around them were thinking or who they are.

Not as hard as most people think to tell what kind of people they are associating with. No, not hard at all for anyone that is even a little bit aware and alert to those around them. We all have the ability to know those around us, the challenge is most are to lazy to wake up and pay attention.

How many times have I heard the words from others and yes from my self "if I had only known." Most of us do know subconsciously we just do not want to acknowledge it on a conscious level. People tell us all of the time who they are and what they are about we just are not listening to them.

When someone tells me that others are not listening to them I know the one not listening is them. When one tells me no one cares the uncaring one is this one.When someone is always talking about someone's adultery they are most often involved in adultery. When someone is always talking about the corruption of others it is about sure they are the corrupt one.

Words the power everyone is seeking is in words. The words we speak, the words we think as well as the words we receive.

Listening and the art thereof is among the most useful skills a person can learn. Allow me a few minutes with most anyone and I will tell you who they are. People tell me all of the time who they are and never even know it. The negative ones tell me how negative everyone they know are and how negative the world is.

The good ones are telling how nice and good everyone is and how well they are treated. What someone calls me or those around them is exactly what they are themselves.

It is amazing how transparent most people are with the words they use to describe others and the world they live in.

Listen, listen, listen this is the key to life. This is the reason we have two ears and one mouth. Yes my friends take the time to listen really listen and you too will know the world around you.

It is a big, beautiful world that wants only for you what you want for yourselves. Begin to program the world, the Universe and yourself by the words you are using for by your words will you receive.

Tell the world that money is not important to you and money will go to one that it is important to. Tell the world that you only want enough to get by and pay your bills with and that is exactly what is sent to you. Exactly what you ask for.

Begin to see the beauty in your world and let that world know that you expect only the best in everything as well as having an abundant life.

Were you aware that atonement is actually at-one-ment. That is right at-one-ment or in other words being at one with your world and those around us. If only our leaders could learn of at-one-ment. For that matter if only the churches would learn what atonement is all about. In all my years in the church I do not believe I ever heard a single minister explain atonement in this manner. For that matter most churches aren't at one with themselves much less others. If they were it would be a one world church, a one world government, a one world people.

We are all one and the sooner we find that out and begin the live it the sooner the hatred will stop. WE must become one with ourselves first, then with Spirit and then with those around us and finally with ALL people.

Now as I am one with all of you know that I Love and Believe in you.

Thanksgiving Morning 2009-11-26

Here I am at my daughter's house early on the morning of Thanksgiving. Everyone is still asleep except for Libby my daughter's two and half year old pure black German Shepard. She looks at me anxiously to let her out of her overnight sleeping quarters. I know that if I do everyone in the house will be awaken instantly as she is just a big puppy still so for a little while longer she will remain.

The house is so quiet even though we are just a couple of blocks from Highway 15 in Murrieta, Ca. As I sit here thinking about how grateful I am while I look back over the past sixty-six years with my sixty-seventh coming in less than a hundred days I realize just how important gratitude is in the flow of life.

Today, I sit here with my children around me sleeping peacefully as I know there are so many out there that do not have this opportunity to be with their children some by choice, some by chance. I salute all of those service men away from their families today many of which are in combat zones in lands far away.

No matter what our individual opinions may be about the political situations that find them there I just want to say how much I appreciate what they are doing to protect our way of life. I realize that many of the world hate us for what we have as in some ways I can understand their feelings for we many of us do not appreciate what we have and take it for granted even as we sit by and allow much of what we have be taken from us without a word of protest.

Millions have died so we may have what we have and the rights to have what we have yet everyday there are those that plot to take those from us. Some do it for they wish to see us fall, others do it out of ignorance and others do it just because they want the power that the people have. Then there are those that think we are not smart enough to govern ourselves that they can do it so much better for us.

What ever today I am grateful that I can sit here writing this article knowing that my door will not be kicked in because someone somewhere doesn't like what I am writing. I am grateful for my country, my freedoms, my children and grandchildren born and waiting to be born.

I am grateful for the Spirit that gives me breath each and every moment. I am grateful for the ability to say what I think and to say it or not say it as I choose. I am grateful to be alive when so many that were born when I was are not.

Well my son is up and just let Libby out and oops there goes my plug to my laptop, ok son and dog are outside. Well now here comes my daughter and the son and dog are back in. Dog is quieter for my daughter is here now and she is the power in the house for she controls the kitchen. Life is beginning again as people are up and moving around.

I am grateful to be loved by my children.

Today I wish to tell everyone a great BIG HAPPY THANKSGIVING and to as always to say I love and believe in YOU.

The Morning after Thanksgiving,

Well, here I am as I was yesterday in the Murrieta, CA Village Java Shoppe enjoying a cup of lemon green tea as I catch up on my email and writing this post for you. This morning I watched my children load up and take off on their week end excursion with out Dad. Felt funny but then it is all for the best as one of their friends text this morning prior their leaving here that it was 20 degrees at the camp site they were heading for.

I have no spleen and yes I trust Spirit I also trust the word where it says tempt not the Lord thy God, so here I am while the kids are off on their adventure and I am enjoying my own adventure sitting admiring all of the beautiful young people coming and going as I enjoy my morning tea.

Also as I look around at the walls and see all of the words of inspiration on them I thought I would share them with you: 'LOVE' is the first one that caught my eye 'Everyday holds a possibility of a miracle' (but only if you are looking for and expecting a miracle). 'BELIEVE' only if you believe can you wish upon a star. 'Life is Beautiful' (again only if you believe 'Hope / wish / Dream / then make it happen). 'YOU ARE WHAT YOU BELIEVE' Dream tomorrow, cherish yesterday, LIVE TODAY!

What a wonderful place to write in and to make it extra special in the background are the sounds of the season.

Wonderful oldies that I have grown up with and love to hear and others that it is my first time to hear and begin to love them also.

After a day of gratitude as we all shared yesterday, I am so very thankful to be here now in this time and space as we begin the countdown to either the end of life as we know it or the beginning of a time we have all dreamed of. Yes, a time of Universal Love and charity with one for all and all for one.

A time they we know and live in the oneness we all share. That we not only are a part of the one but we are the one. The one and only Spirit that loves us all no matter what we may choose to call IT.

Yes, the IT or the Inner Teacher or IT.

When we follow the IT we can not go wrong no matter how it may appear to us as long as we know that IT is in control. That is all we shall eve have to do follow our IT.

Pay no attention when someone comes up and says they have a message from their IT for you if when you hear it there is no resonation with your IT. That message is not for you or not for you NOW. Learn to listen to and follow your own IT. Most of all learn to TRUST your IT.

Now as I listen to my IT I hear IT saying to tell all of you how much we LOVE and BELIEVE in YOU.

Praying Correctly

First of all the first order of business today is issuing an apology to our editor and monitor.

I THOUGHT I had sent in an article to be posted and I waited several days and was just getting ready to fire off a smart aleck email to him (oh yes I have my human moments all too many of them) when that small little voice quietly said are you sure You sent it. Of Course I said I know I did.

Then I promptly went to my sent emails so I could in all of my wounded dignity say to Spirit See I Told You So. Instead I FOUND ... NOTHING.

Spirit then said don't you think you owe him an apology so here it is Sorry, big guy.

O. K. that is out of the way so the thing is so many of us pray and receive no answer. What is it with that? Why don't we get answers?

The reason is most people do not pray correctly and actually have no idea what prayer is. Most people spend their time praying trying to do deals with God. Give me this and I will do that or they spend their life nagging and begging God for something.

Paul, told us, to pray without ceasing, I use to think how in the world do you pray with out ceasing, there are other things to do.

What I was missing and most other people also is that we didn't understand what prayer is. Prayer can be one of two things it can be a specific request for something we desire or in the most literal sense a Prayer is every thought, word and action we think, speak or do.

In the case of the Specific Prayer Request God the universal Spirit doesn't want a lot of nagging, pleading, begging. This is a prayer of supplication and more times than not will not to our understanding be answered although every prayer even these are answered.

It may be no, or no not right now or it may be yes.

However if we really want a prayer answered then we should construct it correctly. Remember God, the Universal Spirit Loves us just as a human parent would, except infinitely more.

Go to Spirit and just lay our request before it as you would your best friend or your favorite loving parent that you know would never deny you anything.

No, Begging, no pleading, no supplication just a gentle or sometimes not so gentle request.

Then leave it in Spirit's hands to be taken care of. As scripture says even before we ask it is done. Spirit works in mysterious ways, its wonders to perform.

Every prayer is answered instantly as we pray it. The car, the house, the funds, the relationship, everything is created instantly in the invisible. Then it is up to us to bring it into the visible by our belief, our faith and finally by our actions when the time is right.

We do this by holding the thought firmly in our minds, knowing that it is ours and then believing it is ours and finally doing what it takes to bring it about to make it ours on this plane of existence.

That is working on one thing at a time and then detaching ourselves from the outcome, knowing Spirit is taking care of it.

Truly letting go and letting God. Also by ending each and every prayer with this or something better for the highest good of all.

The praying without ceasing is that every thought, every word is a prayer.

In our lives if we live it with good happy, positive thoughts we shall live a good positive happy life.

The opposite is true also. Negative, bitter, sad thoughts. Negative, bitter, sad life.

The word also says to stand guard at the entrance of our minds so that the enemy may not enter.

The enemy is negativity which is the evil of this world.

As we stand positive, thinking, speaking loving positive thoughts we can not help but have good positive lives.

Even when something which appears negative happens it is usually a result of our errant thinking, hoever if we look for it we shall and will see the positive side of it. Which is another thought for another day.

My thought right here and right now is that I Love and Believe in YOU.

Thoughts of Manifestation on a Wednesday

I am sitting here thinking what ever it is I am thinking and decided to write just what ever comes to mind and even though I am writing it on Wednesday doesn't mean it will see the light of day on Wednesday or even ever as far as that goes.

One never knows when our editor or moderator or whatever he is called will get around to reading it and decide if it meets the criteria of the site.

Well, that is his job and mine is to write. It is all a part of the Spiritual Journey as is all things. Yes all things. Yes even when we go into that private little room and do our business for that is merely another way this space suit we call a body eliminates the waste from our bodily systems.

Our minds also have to eliminate the waste that accumulates there. That is a large challenge our society has today for instead of eliminating the waste that accumulates there they allow it to build up until the mental system is overloaded with waste and it goes boom resulting in a system meltdown.

A huge part of this journey is learning to control or emotions as well as our actions. We must learn to control our emotions for this is the largest thing in our area of manifestation.

Thoughts Feelings ( emotions) Actions equal Results or TFAR.

That is the totality of the secret of Creating / Attracting / manifesting our wildest desires.

That coupled with the FAITH that it WILL happen not that it may or might but that it will happen and sooner rather than latter.

When we get the right FAITH we can put out our hand and expect to find in it what ever it is we desire.

Do I have that now almost and I believe that before I breath my last breath I will have it.

I AM only to the point where when I desire or require something it does come in it's own good time. It is never late or early but just right as Spirit always is. I do believe there are those advanced beings among us that are capable of these types of things.

I see all of the things that are here now in my living room. All of my books, dvds, cds, cassettes, direct TV box, My ancient TV of which I am grateful, I speaker systems along with receivers, cd, dvd, cassette players.

The electric lights all of these things that are miracles since I was born in 1943. Yes 66 years of material development and a vast jump in Spiritual knowledge as well moving from the control of the many cults that call themselves Chruchs.

Were you aware that one of the definitions of Cult is "anyone that believes different from you".

I love this more free thinking world, however those in power fear thinking people and call them dangerous individuals as our forefathers were.

Dangerous to the status quo, to the way things are.

I dream of a time when one will say 'why not' instead of 'why'.

I dream of a time when every one will say with me I love you and believe in you.

That is my gift to you today and every day for I say to you. I love you and Believe in YOU.

A Happy Idiot or Sad Genius

Yes, definitely a happy idiot rather than a sad genius if I had to make a choice. But then I would much rather be a happy genius for in my own way I believe I am.

I definitely believe I have the power to be whatever I choose to be as long as I am willing to pay the price to be it for all things have a price.

Yes, even the happiness of having a partner or companion or spouse. The price isn't always money though that is certainly a part of it. The subject of money has broken up more relationships second only to the sexual issues.

Funny thing about money and sex we work so hard to get either one of them and then when we get either of them we have to face guilt issues. Funny I have no guilt for I have at this time little or none of either. Not that I wouldn't love to have a lot of each.

I have found that I have built a wonderful relationship with myself and yes I am probably full of myself for I have found that I really like who I am at this time. Would be nice if the ole bod was a little more sound, but as I was just saying this morning I am in a wonderful shape for the shape I
am in.

I look around at men my age that are still alive for it is amazing the number of men that are dying in their fifties now. I suppose the fact that I died at the age of 44 may have given me a few more years. I personally believe I am good for at least another 30 years at least, hale and hearty.

Yes, definitely it is better to be happy than sad. The funny thing is that happy or sad is an individual choice.

That's right we can choose to be happy or sad on cue. Feeling blue right now try a little experiment with me right now. Plaster on a great big smile, go ahead do it now. That's it, now hold it for sixty seconds. Yes hold it on there for sixty seconds. Now then don't you feel better?

We don't smile because we feel good we feel good because we smile.

The exact opposite is true we can have the best day going and put a frown on our face and almost immediately we shall begin to feel horrible and so will those around us for we are incredible creative creatures.

I choose to be a happy loving, giving individual, right here, right now and so it is and so I am.

Poff, here I am a happy loving, giving individual that right here right now I want you to know that I love and believe in each and every one of you.

The Secret to Receiving

What a wonderful title and subject to write about. Everyone loves to receive although it may surprise you to learn that some people have a problem with receiving.

I was one of these until I discovered that when I refuse to receive a gift someone was offering me that I was depriving them of receiving a blessing and the wonderful feeling one receives when they give.

As the Frito bandito use to say, "it is more blessed to give than receive, so give".

I truly believe that the reason America is still a Super Power and Force in the world is because there is no nation in the history of the world that has given more to more people.

Sometimes though I wish they would turn around and give more to their own people for Charity does truly begin at home.

Also remember something else that when we freely give it is no longer our business what our gift is used for unless we have specified the use it is to be use for. So if out of the goodness of our heart we give to a homeless person and they use it for something besides what we thin it should be use for then we shouldn't give it in the first place for once it leaves our hand into theirs it is no longer ours to choose where it goes.

To first receive we must first give that is the secret to receiving. Giving and receiving is an exchange of energy. To receive we must first give of ourselves it may be a prayer sent to the Universe for what ever it is it must first come from us before it can come through us.

An exchange of energy this for that what ever this or that may be. That is also when we take something from someone we shall lose something of an equal or greater value.

A teacher or anyone that stands up to show the way will often times be made an example of if they are not teaching from the heart.

A person can be totally wrong about what ever they are doing but if it is being done from the heart the person will not be harmed by the Universe. They may be harmed by their actions such as if a person were teaching there is no such thing as gravity and stepped of a high place they will pay the price.

Were you aware that from ancient times those with a mental challenge, many times were respected as being from or of the Gods?

The secret to receiving is actually very simple give and you shall receive.

The Universe is a system of order and balance it will always right things though we may not be around to see it.

As long as we live by the harm none do as you will and do all things for the highest right action for and of all then we shall always be ok. Even in the darkest of times the light will shine through as this too shall pass. I get some of my greatest moments of thankfulness when I go to the
VA Hospital for but for the grace of God there go I.

Know that I love you and I believe in you. No matter what remember that I Love and believe in YOU.

Here I sit after coming back from a shopping trip on the Public transportation, then walking half a mile with six doubled plastic bags of frozen fruit, tamales and burritos. Yes, six pounds of frozen strawberries and five pounds of frozen peaches. Uhmmm, can anyone say smoothies. I take an put in 8 ounces of joint juice glucosamine, three ounces of alo vera juice, with three ounces of cran pomgranite, Uhmmm, Uhmmm, good.

Sitting in my recliner with my laptop in my lap doing what I love, writing about Spirit and how good Spirit is to me.

Then I realize Spirit is as good me as I am to it. As I take time to give thanks to Spirit for all of the good in my life. Also to give thanks for all that appears to not be good for out of some of the roughest times in my life have come some of the greatest blessings.

One of the great things taught me by one of my teachers that allowed me to go through one of the, if not the hardest time in my life was to always look for the good within everything.

I have learned that when one door closes another always opens even if at times we have to kick it open.

We are not to live life passively we are to live it in active mode. Know what you want and go for it. Never let the lack of money be an excuse or I' m too young or too old. Go do it.

No, you do not have to settle for less than the best. Set your sights as high as you possibly for sometimes if you shoot for the stars you land on the moon.

Care not what others think of you think only what you think of yourself. Others opinions are just that. Others opinion.

One thing to remember however we are not islands unto ourselves and for
every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. If you can't do the
time, don't do the crime.

I am happy today for over the week end I had the opportunity to spend it with my children and their friends and families out in the desert riding quads. My first time and it was an experience watching those kids go straight up those sand dunes. Oh, my it looked exciting.

Just to watch them having fun all in a family environment was awesome. I am a blessed man to have my children love me as they do for though I never had a lot to give them they always had no doubt of my love for them.

Last night my son brought me a chicken dinner to my door to surprise me with and he is always doing things like that. Wasn't that Monday Night Football game something else and tonight I get to watch my Lakers play. All from the comfort of my recliner, life is wonderful.

Remember Life is only an idea in the mind of the one living it for as we think it is so it is. What I think now is that I love and believe in you.

The Living Sermon

The first part of this post was first published in the "Faith for daily Living" in South Africa about 1990 or there abouts.

I'd rather see a sermon than hear one any day.
I'd rather one would walk with me than merely show the way,
The eye is a better pupil and more willing than the ear.
Fine council is confusing but examples always clear.
The best of all the preachers are the ones who live their creeds.
For to see good put into action is what everyone needs.
I soon can learn to do it if you let me see it done.
I can watch your hands in action, but your tongue too fast may run.
The lectures you deliver may be very wise and true.
But I would rather get my lessons by observing what you do.
I may not understand the high advice that you may give.
But there is no misunderstanding how you act and how you live.

I believe I just stop there and the message would be complete, however my publisher asks for at least 500 words or more. I came across this actually as I was researching another quote, "the laborer is worth of their hire".

It was taped inside of my Dake's Bible. Even by the choice of my Bible one can tell I am a maverick for Reverend Dakes was a maverick charismatic minister from I think Georgia or Alabama in the mid 1800's. His bible is annotated with his thoughts and beliefs about almost every verse in the bible. It is literally his life's works and thoughts.

I enjoy it for it gives another's thoughts to compare with my own. He wasn't afraid to put them down on paper for the whole world to see. Upon his transition his family published it for the benefit of the whole world.

As most of you Know I am not a tradition type of minister. I do not hold with most religions. I believe as St. Paul that we should each seek our own salvation. However, unlike Paul who said to do it with fear and trembling, I believe it should be done with joy and happiness.

It thrills me to no end knowing that Spirit trusts me to find my own way that I am not a robot that is put here programmed and then expected to live by the rules of others. What I am expected to do is to figure it out for myself that all I am doing is remembering for I came to this dimension with full knowledge of my history, purpose and mission.

It was only after arriving that I was domesticated much like a dog and trained to believe what I was told and not to question.

As great as the scriptures are and they are great whether they be Christian, Muslim, or what ever they are full of wisdom. What we fail to recognize most of us is the reason they were produced in the first place. One reason and one reason only. They are here to calm and pacify a rising questioning population. Yes, this is the only reason they were placed here. To hide the mysteries in plain view and to give us a guide until we understood that we were to think for ourselves.

Spirit used the Authorities to put these out in such a way that they thought few if any would figure out the true truth buried deep within in them.

To any true student of Scripture they quickly figure out they are like a rose or an onion with many layers to each verse. With each reading we discover something new and exciting.

I believe in living a life with things taken from many different disciplines for none of them have the entire truth. It is only by searching though the haystacks of material that one finds the needles or nuggets of light.

Then as we begin the discover these we realize that somewhere deep within us these truths have lain hidden waiting for us to "remember" and discover them all anew on our trip back home to the top of the mountain.

Yes to have a living sermon preached to us from the lives of our teachers rather than the empty words they speak.

Any one can talk it but only special ones can walk it. Try as I do I fail daily to be the person I choose to be. However as the picture get clearer in my mind so does my walk.

It is amazing how Spirit guides us for my post to day was to be on the Laborer being worthy of their hire and then Spirit allows me to find this old article that I clipped out at least twenty years ago.

A shout out here to one of my teachers from that time twenty years ago. A man in non conventional profession as he is one of the top Texas Holdem players in the world. He won the world championship I believe in 1995 or 96. He taught me a lot about giving and receiving for the first time I met him he gave me a watch and a hundred dollar bill so to D. R. I thank you and
remember you with lots of love and affection.

Know that you made a huge impression on me and taught me that even a deck of cards carries the good new with in it.

For now let me say how much I really love, honor, respect and believe in each one of you.

How Spirit Communicates with Us

Yes, Yes, Yes, I know Spirit hits us with a bright light and blinds us so we have to spend time meditating about things.

No, No, No, or at least not always. Sometimes it is through the words of a song we hear on the radio or it may be a line from a book or newspaper we are reading. Yes I still read a newspaper once in a while.

It may be from the lips of a small child or even our mother in law or other irritating people and no I did not say my mother in law is an irritating person for I do not have such a thing at this time.

We may be walking down the street. No I AM NOT a streetwalker although I do walk down the street. As I was saying we may be walking down the street and happen to catch a part of a conversation.

As you can see messages may come to us in many ways. I have been angry at someone and banged my head really hard getting in the car. The message may have been for me to be more cautious getting in the car or it may have been about the anger.

Part of receiving messages is deciphering them after we receive them. Also part of it is recognizing the message when we receive them. Sometimes the message comes in just the way our life is working.

Going well the message is good job continue as you are. Life is hard and rough the message is stop where you are and take inventory.

Most times our lives are difficult for we are or have made wrong choices. As much as we would like to blame others most of the time it is our own choices and decisions that have brought us to where we are.

I would love to blame my alcoholic father and grandfather or my heroine addicted mother or even the Southern Baptist guardians for how I am now. The truth is that I am where I am now because of choices and actions I made.

Yes that I made. Once on my own then it was up to me to change my life and make it what I wanted.

It may have been I didn't have the training or education I needed but then if not it was up to me to get what ever I required. The truth is I didn't for what ever reason and now at 66 instead of being independent I find myself depending on Spirit for my every need.

Not really a bad life. It just really makes one grateful for all they have and receive. Now more than ever I want to help others in overcoming their day to day difficulties.

Believe me if you have a good companion in your life be grateful. It is lonely getting to this stage with no one to share it with.

There again no ones fault but my own. I made bad choices and decisions about who I chose and my actions with those I did choose.

So now I have my computer on my lap and it even gives me head aches, boy does it. Any way know that it all starts and ends with us. Where ever we are it was only us that allowed it to happen. Once we accept that then we can begin to move forward in a direction of our choice.

My choice is to love and believe in YOU.
