Please excuse my absence of the last few days or it may even be weeks since my last post. There are times when I feel that all is known with no mysteries left; then again the fog falls leaving one to wonder where
all of the answers went.
I have come to the conclusion that the danger lies when I know that I know that I know. At these times, one stops searching. That is the real danger: when one believes they know the only way. That it is their way and no other. This leads to the kool aid of Jim Jones or the very scary fundamentalist -whether they be Muslim or Christian. Any time anyone believes they know the only way to anywhere, run like
the wind, for true evil is after you.
Yes as St Paul told us we must each of us seek our own salvation. He says, 'with fear and trembling'. I say: with faith and joy. Know that the Universe loves us very much. The world owes us nothing - the Universe owes us all. Each person must have their own code of conduct that guides them. This should be one that is forged from their own intellect, knowledge, and emotions; not from someone else's teachings. We must be willing to
listen: think, then form our own opinion. Give me a people that think for themselves. People that think for
themselves when they choose a leader, then that is a person to follow. We have no leaders like that today. Our leaders of today are elected by sheep that follow whom ever they are told with little or no research to find who thy are following. Leaders of whatever part of society we may be referring : religion, politics, social, business. Most leaders of today are creatures of myth - smoke and mirrors - with little or no reality to them. They say and promise whatever people wish to hear, then after election or appointment, do what they will. If this all sounds like disillusionment, that is the farthest thing from my mind. What I want to see is a thinking people that act for the good of all at the expense of none. I want to be able to write without the worry that someone will refuse to allow my item to post for it doesn't meet with their approval. I want a world that One can walk down the street smiling without someone thinking they are weird. I want love unconditionally knowing that I am loved unconditionally - not by one or two - but by all. I want our men home from the wars. I want those in power that declare a conflict or war to go fight it themselves. I want to be loved as I love. I choose to live my life as if the above were true. I choose to love
unconditionally. I choose to trust again. I choose to be the person others can love unconditionally. I choose to harm none and live as I will. I choose to allow my life to be free. I choose to allow my feelings and emotions to feel freely. I choose to allow you to be you as you allow me to be me. I choose to be grateful, thankful, appreciative; for the life I have lived; the life I am living; and the life to come. I give thanks for you as I love you and believe in you... Blessings,
