Inspiration - Personal Development at its Best!
Monday, 22 June 2009

Last week I wrote about my depression and fear of going to a pizza party.
Well, I went the party had some great food and really enjoyed myself
although the evening ended way too early for me. I had arranged for some folks
to give me a ride home the only challenge was they didn't show up.

My son called to make sure I had a ride for he was headed to bed as he has
to get up at 5:00am to go to work and he could come get me but it had to
be now.

So I left actually just as the party was getting moving good. Ah but the
pizza was good.

Now what does that have to do with the inner voice that we all have. If
we are fortunate we only have the one voice of Spirit talking to us. If we
aren't then we have Spirit and those imitators that would like us to think
they are Spirit and they are spirit just not the Spirit.

How to tell what to listen to amid all of that clamor is too just take a
moment and listen for that still quiet voice telling all is well and is
giving you those quiet comforting words of peace.

Spirit is never loud or negative even when advising away from a potential
challenging event. Even in those time rather than tell not to do something
Spirit will always point out an alternate positive route to take to keep
to the High Road.

It is always interesting for even when I know what Spirit is telling me I
at times take the other road and it is always 'interesting' to say the
least.

I always know the right way and even when that small inner voice read
Spirit in there tells me I still at times allow ego to get the best and most of
the times it would have been best to go the other way.

You know the ancient Chinese had a toast or saying which in effect was
actually a curse and it went "may you have an interesting life".

That is what I have had and it has been interesting a lost of boredom
mixed with moments of outright death defying excitement.

The inner voice will always guide us right once we learn to listen to the
right one and not go our own way.

Life is learning to listen and not just to our own inner voice but to
listen to others and actually really hear them.

Most of the time folks just want us to listen to them not try to fix them
but just to listen.

Two things I have learned over the years one is remember that there is no
past it is gone and can not be found anywhere in except in memory and ask
ten different people about any event they all witnessed you will get ten
different versions which and a trained investigator or researcher will search
for the common threads in all of the statements.

The other thing is that I have never made a mistake. I have had a lot of
lessons in my life and some of them had to be repeated before I learned the
lesson but there has never been a mistake for where ever my life lead me
that is where I was meant to be.

There have been many, many lessons and non of them were mistakes of if
there is no past how could have been mistakes?

Anyway a lesson is not a mistake it is a lesson and that is what I am here
for is to learn my lessons.

The main thing I have learned is that love and believe in YOU

Blessings and happy holidays
