Inspiration - Personal Development at its Best!
Tuesday, 16 June 2009

I haven't eaten breakfast yet and here I am writing a second post for the
day and the third one for the week and they say miracles don't happen any
more.

Every once in a while I like to go back and just kind of explain my
rational for the way I do this blog.

As we all know it is called "the Spiritual Journey" yet from some folks
view I seldom get religious and they are quiet right for to me. Spiritual
has nothing to do with religion.

You see I believe we are Spiritual Beings having a human experience rather
than human beings having a spiritual experience.

To me being Spiritual is not a Sunday morning experience or a once or
twice a week or even day experience. It is a full time all the time experience
in my life. I attempt to live
Spiritually by being Spiritual.

To me the only law is Harm none and do as you will.

If we all lived by this one simple rule what a wonderful world we would
live in.

To harm none includes ourselves as well as others.

This goes to our thoughts as well as our actions. Our subconscious has no
concept between the two. To it if we think it we have done it. But
that certainly does enlivens ones love life if they so chose.

Yes to think it is to do it and that is actually Scriptural if anyone
wants I can dig up the exact book, chapter and verse.

This is one of those Sunday school things that was brought out in our
study as a child. Now as an adult I shall go back and find it and let you know
at a later date when I DO.

It all begins with the thought that is one of the reasons the scriptures
also instruct us to stand guardian at the threshold of our mind so we may
guard against those harmful and damaging thoughts that tend to come our way.

Little do most of us know of the damage that voice in our heads can do to
us. As long as we keep it kind and gentle then we are not injured. It is
when we are so hard and critical of ourselves that we are.

It is up to us to treat ourselves gently if we want others to do so for
truly harm none means ourselves and what goes around comes around.

Being kind to ourselves does not mean to be dishonest with ourselves it is
merely being gentle and not being ourselves up because we took a step
wrong or even two or three but to gently bring us back into our life mission of
harming none, including ourselves.

I love you and Believe in You

Blessings and happy holidays
