Inspiration - Personal Development at its Best!
Monday, 11 May 2009

The last time I visited you here we talked about suicide. What has
brought me past this stage of my life were two things, hope and faith.

Hope there were better things ahead and the faith to believe they were
mine.

Hope gives us faith for without hope there can be no faith. I love it for
I never know what will happen next but I do know that if I am here and
give it the opportunity something good will come my way.

Since starting this blog last year I now have over two hundred essays that
can be use in all manners of ways.

They could be published all together as the A to Z of living. They could
be archived for others to go back and review. There are many ways they can
be used.

Hope and faith are two things we can build our life on. The hope of a
better life and the faith that it will happen are major keys to the Kingdom.
These are the two things that enable me to open my eyes, throw off the
covers and put my feet on the floor every morning.

Without them I could do nothing and I do mean nothing.

hope (hp)
v. hoped, hop·ing, hopes
v.intr.
1. To wish for something with expectation of its fulfillment.
2. Archaic To have confidence; trust.
v.tr.
1. To look forward to with confidence or expectation: We hope that our
children will be successful.
2. To expect and desire. See Synonyms at expect.
n.
1. A wish or desire accompanied by confident expectation of its
fulfillment.
2. Something that is hoped for or desired: Success is our hope.
3. One that is a source of or reason for hope: the team's only hope for
victory.
4. often Hope Christianity The theological virtue defined as the desire
and search for a future good, difficult but not impossible to attain with
God's help.
5. Archaic Trust; confidence.

I love the Biblical definition of faith:
The substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen.

Hope is to wish for something with expectation of its fulfillment.

Now if that doesn't just make you want to stand up and shout I do not know
what will.

Subway is calling and it is time for my morning sandwich. See you soon
and know that I love you and believe in you.

Blessings and happy holidays
