I sit here writing about the emotion of anger at a time when I have little or none present on a conscious level. I have been an angry man and have known anger to the point of literally allowing it to almost ruin my life.
I know that there may be some that think it did. I have realized that nothing can ruin our lives unless we give it that power. Only we have the power to declare our lives ruined. Once we have done that. It is done.
No one has done it but ourselves. There comes a time in everyone's life when we take total responsibility for all of our actions and accept the consequences good or bad.
This is the tine we can take control of our lives. We may have lost everything we thought we had. What we have to remember is we never have anything actually for it is all on loan to us for what ever length of time we may require it.
The only thing we posses is our thoughts and believe it or not many of them are not ours we merely borrowed them from the ether.
Anger is an interesting emotion. It can destroy or it can be used to create all depending on how we choose to use it. If we only knew it there again much of our anger is not ours but comes again from the ether.
What do they say too late wise too soon gone or something like that. I find that old saying that we do not miss the water until the well goes dry also true true.
I never really realized how fortunate I have always been. As I was saying to my son and one of his friends the other day it seems that no matter what happens I always have come out truly blessed in some way or the other.
I know it is all in the eye of the beholder as is beauty. What to one may be a tragedy may be a blessing to another. Losing my transportation on one hand has been difficult however I know that the walking is good for me and I need it at this time in my life.
It is funny that what ever I require it is brought to me one way or the other. Not funny ha ha, but funny in a strange and wonderful way, yet it shouldn't be either. For shouldn't the universe take care of its children which we are?
It should be easy to trust the Universe to provide for us that which is required for our survival and yes even our wishes and desires.
I started out talking about anger and now have come to trust.
The two are connected for if there were more trust there would be less anger. Not necessarily trust in people but trust in the Universe that all will work out for the best no matter what.
There was a time years ago I kept waiting for the next bad thing to happen and it always did until a friend suggested I wait for the next good thing to happen and it always does now that I look for it.
In life we find what ever it is we look for so why don't we look for the next good thing.
One thing I do not have to look for and that is that I love you and Believe in YOU
