-ing 1 , -ing 2
All of my life I have sought to find understanding which is good. The
challenge is I was seeking to find understanding in and from others not realizing
that understanding as all things are must first begin within ourselves.
It is only by being understanding can we receive it from others. As we give
understanding to others do we finally receive understanding which begins and
ends with our self.
Understanding is the second part of knowledge for if we do not understand
what it is we know we actually know nothing.
What a wonderful gift to give someone we love, the gift of understanding.
Not just to understand them but to understand ourselves.
This is a wonderful gift to give ourselves. If we understood ourselves we
would not be harming ourselves or others as we do.
So how do we find understanding?
Understanding is found by finding a quiet place to be alone with our
thoughts. Then we allow ourselves to observe the thoughts that come to us.
Observing, with no judgment of them, only observing them, as we observe our
thoughts and see the trend of them we begin to get a glimmer of understanding
of who we are and what we are about.
As I do this I find that I love you and believe in YOU.
