What is this about a safety pin…well those that see me out and about many
times see me with a safety pin on my lanyard and when they ask me about it I
explain that the safety pin is a reminder to me that I have to hold it together
and by it I mean all of it my life, my mouth, my temper all of IT.
,
The safety pin reminds me also that not only do I have to hold it together
that there are also times I have to open up and let go of things and many
times I have to do this sooner rather than later.

The sooner I open up and let Spirit take care of things the sooner I know
all is ok. I am learning to let go faster and faster letting Spirit take
care of things and many times it is only by letting go that I can hold on.

I am realizing more and more that as much as I would like to be an island I
can not be for there are those that depend and count on me to do what I am
suppose to do when I am suppose to do it.

The simple act of looking down and seeing my safety pin or seeing it in a
mirror reminds me not only to hold on but know when to let go and turn loose.

I have made a habit in my life of holding on way past the time for letting
go their by hurting myself and others in the process.

I have found the old saying that this too shall pass to be very, very true.
No matter what it is it will pass and go away the good as well as the bad.

Hold on long enough and your time will come. But as I said before sometimes
we have to let go to be able to hold on long enough to see the finish.

One thing I do know is that I love you and Believe in you.
