When all else fails Spirit never fails so since this is a blog about
Spirituality of which Spirit is the root the base of it all. I feel it is
appropriate to go back to basics which is Spirit.
As You know in my belief system Spirit is all there is. There is nothing
that is not Spirit and no place Spirit is not. Spirit is everything,
everywhere, ever present.
We may run, but as they say we can not hide. Everywhere we look Spirit is
present. We can not out run Spirit for we are Spirit. We are Spiritual
beings having a human experience here on planet Earth.
The whole reason for the existence of this entire dimension is for Spiritual
beings to use as a means of experiencing the human experience for their
greater growth. It is to learn to move around in a clumsy space suit we call a
body to learn to communicate in a clumsy way with something called oral or
verbal language.
No wonder it takes a human child so long to learn to actually survive in
this world of ours. Outside out possibly the family of apes I can't think of
another species that their young are cared for by the elders for so long.
The reason being that of all the species on earth we are the only ones that
are Spirit Beings that must adapt to this environment in order to survive
since it is so vastly different from their own.
Spirit is such a marvelous state that I love to just luxuriate within it.
To just lay back and allow Spirit to minister to me is heaven on earth. When
I meditate and just lay back and allow Spirit to take me home for a little
while to experience peace, and quiet in a calmness that just sooths the soul
and makes life enjoyable as well as bearable.
I love to relax in Spirit as I feel safe, protected and secure. Spirit is
all I have to maintain this thing called sanity and I am sure there are those
that may question if it works.
Spirit is my abundance, my wealth, my peace, my hope, my comfort, my love,
my today, my future and was my past. Spirit is all of this to me and so much
more.
In Sports when an athletic team is having difficulty it always goes back to
basics and so do I for in those difficult times I go to my basics, Spirit.
Yes Spirit is basic to all I do. I live Spirit, breath Spirit, I am Spirit
for when I fall into human mode things begin to turn brown if you know what I
mean. When I am not walking in Spirit I do dumb things, I say dumb things.
Sometimes they aren't dumb, sometimes they hurt me and others. The words I ma
y say are not as kind, my actions are not as forgiving and kind.
I love living in the Spirit and just being grounded enough to function in
this place we call the human experience. For the truth is this is where we are
for the time being so we are to get the very most out of our experience
here. We are to love as much, as often and as good as we possibly can. We are
to appreciate others being grateful for all of our experiences. We are to
realize that we are to live to harm none to be an example to all of those around
us.
To remember it only takes one thoughtless act to ruin a lifetime of good.
Remember it is only the now that counts and what are we doing for Spirit now.
