An idea lost or just the thought of it is to me sad, yet, day after day it happens to all of us. Until that magic moment we begin carrying a pen and notebook or a memo recorder. This morning on the way to work I had the most magnificent idea for my subject today and on the way I mentally wrote it out and it was fantastic. Well, It was like the fishermen's one that gat away. It was huge, trust me it was.
Well, it got me to thinking tonight as I sat down to write this. How many times have we missed out on an opportunity because we didn't take the time to record something or make a note of it? Now that I am writing on a daily basis it is more important than ever for me to start a bank of ideas to draw from. It is sort of like a relationship bank. You know when you are in a relationship bank we are putting deposits in and taking withdrawals out. A successful relationship always has more deposits than withdrawals of if we don't the relationship doesn't last long. It doesn't matter if it is a lover, friend or job.
The deposits must always exceed the deposits and not by a little bit either. The deposits must be substantially larger to maintain any relationship we can think of. The good news is that as long as you are still in that relationship it can be saved by starting immediately to make deposits and I mean large deposits into that relationship. Become the best, Lover, friend, employee ever. Maybe you are the employer it is not to late to become a better boss. We can do it in fact I am making a commitment here now to become a better friend, father and employee.
