This is a subject I know very well. Since being shot in 1987 in the upper right center of my chest I have been diagnosed as PTSD and Bi-Polar. Yes it hurt everywhere and everyone around me. I continued hurting myself and those around me until I lost everything and most everyone around me.
Then my best friend, lover and partner told me I was responsible that I had to take the responsibility for it. She pointed out to me that I controlled myself when I chose to when others were around. When we were alone I chose not to control it and would let my emotions explode. It wasn't fair to her so she chose to not condone it any more or to be around it so she took with her most all I held ear to my heart. I listened to her and began to seek help in counseling and meditation.
Slowly but surely my guides and teachers have worked with me to bring me to a point of control. No medication for that. Just meditation. Depression is real. If you are someone close to you are going through it. It is amazing what happens when you stop allowing yourself to be a victim any longer and take possession of your life and stop allowing yourself to be depressed. Get off your butt and go do something with someone or just learn to love yourself enough to spend time with your self.
We are fantastic people when we remember who we are or discover who we are. I love spending time with me for I truly am a wonderful person just as you are. I have my Garfield comics and other humorous matter for those times I have to get myself out of the dumps. I made the decision to be a better person that can take care of myself. I am learning how to do that. It would be great for Princess Charming to come flying in and rescue me however seeing as I am Prince Charming I May just have to rescue myself with a princess on the side somewhere.
Life is too short for us to be so serious all of the time. That is why my new motto is LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL. That is like hey I have said it all but the boss says another hundred words or so. No Depression isn't fun. I HAVE LEARNED to set my clock for five minutes and be depressed and really feel it then when the alarm goes off I get busy doing something to distract me from it and to feel better. It is called raising our vibrations or our energy.
The higher we raise your vibrations the better we feel. Getting in touch with our self and our feelings allows us to monitor and change them when necessary. Emotions are the key ingredient to creation. That is why sad people bring more sad times while happy people bring more happy times to them. If we know this why don't we do it to help ourselves? We are fantastic creators why don't we create good for ourselves? We can do it and I believe in YOU. Love, Peace and Light, |
