This is an article I may not finish and if I do I may not post it. The reason is it will be deeply personal and introspective. The only reason I will post is to possibly help someone else not make the errors I made and if they do to know that all is good. No matter what it appears or feel like it is in the long run good.
I have been blessed to know and have several fantastic companions over the last fifty years which make it so hard being alone at this time in my life. Every companion I had said in the end they loved me they just couldn't live with me. Each one was more awesome than the last and each prepare me for the next.
I, eventually took each one for granted thinking they would always be there. I never appreciated the relationship, much less the person. Here as I write the memories flow past. I see the faces and actually in a case or two can smell their perfume and feel their hands in my hair.
I am a much different man now and enjoy my own company, but at times I would give anything to have someone to share my life with, to feel next to me in bed and just to have someone special to love me.
All I have left is my love. I may not be able to perform as a man with a woman any more, who knows, I sit here and write, the TV on in the background. With all that is happening my mind remembers the touch of a woman, the smell of her hair, the sound of their voice.
I remember and want to tell anyone in a relationship. Treasure your partner, Love her and appreciate her. If you are good together protect it, if not find someone else and just do it. I think back and realize all of my partners were awesome fantastic people. I just wasn't the man to appreciate it.
I realize it and I know that somewhere there is a strong, intelligent, attractive, secure lady that is brave enough to give me another chance.
