Taking care of business means first things first. In this case it means that as I was rereading yesterdays post I saw that I had had not just a typo but an incorrect date. I wish to correct that at this time. The date of my stroke was February 21st 1995 not 1975.
That out of the way leads me to other aspects of taking care of business and yes there is spirituality in business as well. For to me as I have said spirituality is all there is. Having said this then of course there is spirituality in business.
Notice I said there is spirituality in business not that spirituality is business which of course it is. Business is spirituality, sex is spirituality, Life is spirituality. There is not a spot where God is not. Cute and true.
Another thing I usually use the term Universe when referring to God or my Higher power. I have no problem with the word God, although there are many, many people out there that have been so harmed by the church and their people that the word God is the last thing they want to hear.
This has nothing to do with political correctness. I am the least politically correct person you will ever see. That however is a post for another day.
This is about sensibilities and being sensitive and understanding to the feelings of others. This I choose to be to the best of my understanding.
Sometimes when we have been harmed by the representatives of our Higher Power or those that perceive themselves as such we just have to forgive and move on.
To some the hurt is so deep that to move on they can only do it with the assistance of their Higher Power so they have to have a name that doesn't bring harmful vibrations to them.
I have found that most people vibrate well to the Universe. A rose by any other name is still a rose. Our Higher Power cares not what we call it only that we call. We are loved and it saddens our Higher Power more than we can ever know during those times we attempt to draw away.
I say attempt for we can never draw away for our Higher Power is the very air we breath, the ground we walk on, the sky above us. It is all there is and there is nothing that is not that power. It is around us, above us, below us through us, in us, it is us. For to hate God is to hate ourselves. There are many people that do just that.
To heal ourselves we must heal our breach with God. I say our breach for God never sees one with us. It is impossible to separate ourselves from God. How do we separate from the air we are breathing, the world we live in? We can't so we accept that to be mad at God is to be mad at ourselves.
This is where we heal this thought right here and now.
I forgive myself of my self hatred and my hatred of God. I forgive myself for any harm I may have done to myself or anyone else intentionally or unintentionally and so it is.
A large part of taking care of business is to do what needs to be done as it needs to be done. When we do that then we can move on to the next thing whatever it may be. Now it is time for me to move on to the next thing which is a shower and breakfast. Blessings, Rev. Isaac
