This thing we call a spiritual journey is very interesting for it is nothing but life. It is a spiritual journey whether we know it or not. We discover this thing called life is more than we think it is.

We come into this world then our teachers and parents more times than not tend to take every bit of spirituality we have been born with then proceed to drive it out of us for our own good.

You are right it doesn't make sense. We have to realize that they didn't know better. The Teacher on the cross said it so well "For give them Father for they know not what they do."

So much truth in so few words. The truth is we know not for we do not know there is anything to know. The older I get the more I realize how little I know. I say this for every time I learn something knew I am blown away by how much there is still to learn about everything I thought I knew.

I have read over 300 books every year of my life since I was 6 years old that is 59 times 300 or in the neighborhood of seventeen thousand seven hundred books. Even with all of that reading I am hungry for more.

If I had my way I would do nothing but read, study, teach, write, and counsel. This is the life I envision for me one day. I enjoy people mainly to study them and just to watch their interactions. People are fascinating creatures to observe.

O enjoy hugs, spending quiet time with people, just talking or listening to them talk. I have a tendency when I have the floor to go off on some tangent about life and it seems to just flow. What is amazing to me is that it is me that is learning for what is coming out of my mouth so many times I have never heard before.

Spirit does that to me and for me. To me this thing called a spiritual journey is learning about Spirit and in effect learning about me. The more I can know about me the better I can help others and treat others as I would like to be treated.

Isn't that the way to bring about this new world we are all asking for. We must realize it begins with each of us. To have a new world is to have a new thought for ourselves and all of those around us for truly as we think so it is. This thing called a spiritual journey.
