Beliefs are the foundation of what we think we are. I am no exception. Everyday I receive 30 to 50 emails most of which are from people I have no idea who they are. There are many of them from different self help projects and newsletters I am taking to make me into the person I choose to be. This morning the following was in my mail box from mail@beliefbusterkit.com .
I have taken the following because it hit me with such a powerful force that I wanted everyone to read this
*Venture with love and kindness!
On your Belief Busting journey you may unearth some dark patches, negative-self concepts or hit some bumps in the road. Make it your intention to be kind and compassionate with yourself, and to love and accept yourself for who and where you are right now, what ever beliefs you may discover you hold about yourself, others or the world.
*Remember that you are not your beliefs!
*Be willing to see yourself and your world through innocent eyes!
*Step into the new!
*Open to bright possibilities and expect the unexpected!
Self Acceptance
"No amount of self-improvement can make up for a lack of self-acceptance."
- Robert Holden
After reading this I went into a short meditation in which I received the following message.
"Remember that who ever one chooses to be they are that person at the moment of choosing. So what ever one chooses to be begin walking that walk until you recognize the person you chose to be. Then accept your self as that person and from the moment you choose to be from that moment on Love that person for in actuality that is who you have always been."
After receiving that message I knew I had to write about it. To also offer thanks to the authors of this particular mini course.
Self acceptance is what so many of us are lacking. As I read those words I realized that I also needed to hear them. I was reminded of what my Higher Self once told me. The things we teach are the things we need to learn at the time of our teaching them.
I am reminded that the reason I am doing this blog is for I am also walking this path just as each one of you are. I am blessed to have been given gifts which the largest blessing has been in the discovering and developing of my gifts.
I did not discover them until late in life. I want to be able to assist others in discovering their gifts much sooner that I did in my fifties.
I dedicate my life to assisting others in every way I possibly can. To that end May I have the privilege to write this blog for many, many, years to come. Thank you Universe and White Dove Books for this opportunity. Help me thank WDB by looking over the available materials, books, videos and what have you and ordering a couple each and every week. Make this your source for your study materials as I do.
Blessings
