Recently a friend of mine upon learning of my writing this blog ask me how in the world was I going to find enough to do a continuing blog on Spirituality. This amazed me for to me Spirituality is everything, it is all there is and there is nothing that is not Spiritual.
Think of it. Spirituality is nature, God, humanity, Love, sex. There is nothing that is not Spiritual. Ok, I saw that funny look on your face when I said Sex is spiritual. In fact there is nothing two people can do together that is more spiritual than sex. In fact the moment of mutual release is the closest we can come to paradise in this realm or dimension. Think about it. Two people forgetting about them selves for an instant in time to bring pleasure to another while bring pleasure to them selves. How can that not be Spiritual?
Ok, this goes back to an earlier thought of mine on perception and choice. I choose to perceive Spirituality this way. That is my right and choice. This is the way I choose to see my life. I am a spiritual being having a human experience. There is no right or wrong in my life until I choose to see it as such. The scriptures say as a man thinketh, so is he. Over and over the scriptures tell us as we think or believe in our hearts so we are. If I think about making love to you, I have. I love that one although I have to admit the thinking act is not nearly so enjoyable as the physical one.
At this time I find myself with out a partner. It is funny life with a partner is so much better, yet we seem to find a way to mess up. Oh, well, as they say when one door closes, a bigger and better one opens. It has been about 3 years and I find I am ready, yes even a 65 year old man misses feminine companionship. Once we have it we are never truly happy without it. Love is something we all require for a healthy, happy life.
It starts with self Love and then as we learn to accept and love ourselves we draw to us that which we are. I want a strong, secure, loving, caring, attractive, sharing, giving, intelligent, humorous, woman. So to draw this kind of woman to me I must be this kind of man.
I'll let you know how it goes now that I have alerted the Universe that I am accepting applications for a life companion. Who knows maybe it is you.
