Inspiration - Personal Development at its Best!

Everybody has different reasons for wanting or needing to get out of bed in the morning and the motivations and self confidence that drive us from dawn to dusk can be many and varied.

Maybe our little cherubs need to be taken to school, with all the aggravations that come with getting them up, making their breakfast and struggling to master their tantrums. Yes I've been there and done that; it's enough to knock a dent in the toughest of people's self confidence.

What about those folk who are retired? For them there are so many pleasurable reasons to pull back the bed covers and spring into life, full of self confidence. Yes even for these gently folk there are still those mundane chores to be done, but they are challenged fervently knowing that they can play for the rest of the day.

Some, they may have a business to control and their zest for life comes with their self confidence to make their business grow and become a success. Motivation comes easily and their self confidence races them forward.

For the great majority waking up to the alarm clock is about getting to work on time in order to earn an honest bob. Motivation and self confidence is seriously lacking as all their hard work is making money for the man at the top. The mindset is to do only what is necessary to justify their pay and then get off home. For these people life lacks abundance and fulfilment.

There is a way to climb out of this rut for which you need a deep desire to want a better life. This lust for better must be followed with a dream plus self confidence that you will achieve better. Desperation to sack your boss may well be setting in but remember, moulding something better for yourself doesn't happen overnight; unless you win the Euro Lottery. If you are satisfied with the type of work you do it may be for you the best option to stay within that industry. You already have the skills set up to achieve success and re-training is not so necessary, although if you are setting up your own business in that field then there will be some new skills to be developed. However, if you are determined that you want a change in direction, success is still definitely achievable provided that you have the self confidence, motivation and belief to get there. Of course it will take a little longer to live your dream.

Both being in a business or employ that you truly enjoy, you will give one hundred percent to your work. Your drive, self confidence and determination to make it succeed will push you on and provide that extra energy when the going gets rough.

Before you can cross over to the business of your choice you will most likely have to continue in your present job. With in this role you should still apply yourself wholeheartedly and with as much self confidence as possible.

Why? I can hear you ask.

By doing the best you can at anything you undertake in life helps develop the self confidence and success mentality. The task may not be arduous and difficult but by putting your best efforts forward you will create the desire to "do things right". There is always a great sense of satisfaction when jobs iare completed well, and let's face it who likes doing things badly.

There is word of caution here. In order to do your best at any job, task or role doesn't mean you have to attempt to do a hundred and one things. The best idea is to concern yourself with the task at hand; to give that task your best shot. By taking on too many things will cause you to be stressing about the other tasks, worrying where the time will come from to finish them. Your mind should be on one thing at a time. This way, with self confidence, you can be at your most efficient and therefore be more productive at everything you do.

If, through no fault of your own you do have many jobs to be completed, then you have to discover your priorities and how to time manage. Firstly decide which jobs are the most important to tackle and have the self confidence in your abilities to see the job to the end. Then make a decision about how long you will take to do each task and, if the job cannot be completed in the designated time, can it be finished at another date.

By being as efficient as you possibly can be, you can be great at everything you put your mind to. So much satisfaction can be had and your self esteem and self confidence will rocket. You will achieve personal growth and you will have the motivation to get out of bed in the morning.
