The health care system in America is corrupt. That's one of the biggest reasons that so many of our citizens are sick. Now while it's true everyone is responsible for his or her personal health, they are grossly misguided, misinformed and brainwashed.
The responsible parties for not providing the proper education about health matters lies mostly in the hands of our government, the medical community and Big Pharma.
I believe that greed and disregard for the state of a person's health here in America is the biggest reason people aren't being educated how to live healthy. Now many people might challenge me on what I believe, but I'm convinced this is true.
Let's look at it this way. Do you think that doctors and Big Pharma really want you to be a well person? Again people might think this is a despicable remark, but look at it this way. If people were more educated about how to get healthy and how to stay healthy what would happen to the profits of doctors and Big Pharma. I would guess it would cause a dramatic plunge in their profits.
Dr. Joseph Mercola, a well-known physician, who practices natural healing methods in his Chicago clinic, says this. "The American health care system is on life support" He reveals that our health care system costs nearly $8000 a year per American.
It is more expensive by 40-60 percent than health care systems in any other industrial country and totals nearly half the health care budget of the entire world. Now while most people believe our health care system is the best in the world it is not only more expensive but also it lacks any education about prevention. Other countries health care system relies much more on prevention.
Here's the issue. It is not nearly as important to provide universal health care or health insurance to every American, as it is to educate people how to be healthy. What really needs to be done is teach people how to spend more time relaxing; that regular exercise is vital to their health; cooking healthy meals and sleeping better also contributes to having a healthy body.
In addition to that it's getting our people access to healthy food, instead of subsidizing agribusiness that produces mostly junk food. This problem alone is causing people to abuse their body which results in them getting all kinds of illnesses and diseases.
It should get everyone's attention when a celebrity like Patrick Swayze, the beloved actor, dies of pancreatic cancer at age of 57. After a 20-month battle with this cancer, Patrick put his faith in conventional chemotherapy and largely dismissed the ideas that nutrition, "super foods" or alternative medicine might have saved him.
He bet his life on the chemotherapy approach, which seeks to poison the body into a state of remission instead of nourishing it into a state of good health. It's truly a shame that this remarkable man chose to follow this path to treating his illness. But as I said earlier, the influence of conventional medicine and Big Pharma might have contributed to his death.
However he is not the only celebrity to be caught up in this disgusting scenario. In the past year, Peter Jennings, Heath Ledger, Tim Russert, Tony Snow, Bernie Mac and just recently Michael Jackson became victims as well.
This is not the only thing disgusting about the scenario. Neither the medical community nor Big Pharma take any responsibility about these deaths. The blame is always on something else. The excuse is either "the cancer was too far along" or "he didn't fight hard enough".
Those are about the sickest of all excuses I have ever heard. Natural medicine healing have disputed those excuses many times and resulted in miracle cures time after time. So I believe the only way to stop all this nonsense about conventional medicine cures and treatments is people "must" take charge of their personal health if they want to lead a healthy life and extend their longevity.
You "must" become more educated about what it takes to be healthy and stay healthy. Otherwise you could fall into the same trap and could become victims just like these people mentioned My website explains what is necessary to enjoy healthy living. I suggest you check it out now.
