The wide spread use of statin drugs for lowering cholesterol has many risks yet they are portrayed to the public as safe and effective, when in reality they are among the most dangerous and health deteriorating drugs on the market.

All adverse side effects of statins, except muscle damage and death, are ignored by the FDA. Instead, they promote serious toxic use of these drugs, even for prevention.

At the same time the FDA is fostering drug development and drug sales. They are even actively working to suppress natural health options, which hold tremendous health care potential, especially for prevention of serious problems.

The FDA even assists international efforts to ban the use of helpful nutritional options in America. They continue this effort, even though the majority of Americans fully support natural health options.

The FDA has become a strong Police force, working against health, rather than protecting us. Some of the campaigns of terror the FDA has initiated against natural healers, nutritional supplement companies and other organizations have been thoroughly frightening.

Many of these raids were conducted using armed agents wielding assault weapons and automatic weapons and even dressed in body armor. All of them were intended to destroy natural medicine, thereby protecting the profits of the drug companies and conventional medicine practitioners.

This is true history of the FDA and they don't want you to know about it. I believe the most classic of all raids involved the clinic of Dr. Jonathan Wright, M.D. and natural health practitioner. His crime according to the FDA was treating his patients with injectable high dose B Vitamins. This is a safe, natural treatment that was helping patients heal.

Here is what the armed agents did. They smashed down the door, rushed into the clinic like a SWAT team with guns drawn, terrorizing the patients and shouting at them to put their hands in the the air.

Over the next fourteen hours (can you imagine that? Fourteen hours) They rifled through Dr. Wright's clinic, seizing patient records, computers, vitamins supplies and various natural therapy products.

The FDA held on to confiscated items, including the computers needed to run his clinic, for three years.

Dr. Wright is a well-respected doctor, a graduate of Harvard and University of Michigan medical School, a book author and prolific public speaker.

He was never arrested or charged with any crime. The only purpose of this raid was to send a message to the alternative medicine community that anyone engaged in nutritional treatments could be raided and shut down, with no legal justification.

It's hard to believe this is happening in America, the home of the brave and the land of the free. Beware folks I'm not sure it's the land of the free any longer. And that's another story to be told later.
