Inspiration - Personal Development at its Best!

Do you believe you live in a total free country today? Don't be too sure. Americans better start becoming more aware what's happening about their civil liberties now.

A certain group of people in recent years have been severely threatened about their civil liberties.It's happening to the legitimate business people and organizations offering people healthier ways to take care of their body.

They are being violently attached by the FDA and it's terrorized agents, and sometimes even being assisted by U.S. Marshall's, State Police and even Postal Service Inspectors who raid their businesses.

These forces break down doors of businesses and even come dressed in body armor wielding assault rifles and automatic weapons and also shouting commands at the people involved to keep their hands up in the air.

WOW! Can you be sure this is still the "Freedom-Based America" we have known for years? These people they raided were not terrorist or criminals. No, they are just freedom loving people caring about their fellow citizens and  trying to help them cure their ailments.

These raids have been conducted on places such as:

* The Life Extension Foundation

A non-profit organization that publishes information about the healing power of nutritional supplements and genuine anti-aging breakthroughs from the world on natural health.

* The El Cajon Pet Food Store

Sissy Harrington-McGill a 57 year-old pet lover who was guilty of the "crime" of claiming that vitamins would help keep pets healthy. These forces even conducted this raid without ever issuing a search warrant.

* The Highland Laboratories

Ken Scott the owner of a vitamin business was selling nutritional supplements containing coenzyme Q10. It's a vital nutrient for cellular aging that has received tremendous praise from the scientific community for boosting cardiovascular health. It also prevents congestive heart failure, improves blood pressure and cholesterol profiles, as well as many other benefits (I just started taken this recently)

To help educate customers about the healing power of COQ10, Ken even offered to send reprints of magazine and newspaper articles describing some of the scientific findings about the nutrient to his customers.

This public education effort, of course, would not be tolerated by the FDA. So they kicked down the doors of Ken's business, with guns drawn and for the next 11 hours agents confiscated nearly everything they could find.

They even threatened his employees with violence if they tried to set foot in the office. His daughter, who was located miles away, was illegally detained and held in "house arrest" for 12 hours.  Ken Scott was ultimately forced to cut a deal with prosecutors, and eventually served five years on probation for his "crime" of telling the truth about COQ10.

Here's the blatant truth about FDA's mission. Vitamin companies "beware!" Don't tell your customer's the truth about vitamins, or we will shut you down and prosecute you.

* Nature's Way

FDA seized bulk primrose oil, a manufacturer that offers some of the highest quality supplements in the business. Nature's Way filed a lawsuit to get their product returned, but was forced to remove the Vitamin E from the formulation. The FDA insisted that Vitamin E had not been approved as an additive for primrose oil.

* The Tahoma Clinic

FDA joined armed King County police officers in a raid against the clinic of Dr. Jonathan Wright, an M.D. and natural health practitioner. His "crime"? He was treating patients with injectable high-dose B vitamins ,a safe, natural treatment – and in doing so was actually helping patients heal.

The armed agents smashed down the door, rushed into the clinic like a swat team with guns drawn, terrorizing patients and shouting at them to put their hands in the air.

The agents spent the next fourteen hours going through his clinic, seizing patient's records, computers, vitamin supplies, and various natural therapy products. The FDA illegally held on to the confiscated items, including the computers needed to run his clinic, for three years.

Was Dr. Wright really so dangerous as to justify an armed raid? He's a graduate of Harvard and the University of Michigan Medical School. He's a book author, a prolific public speaker and served as the nutrition editor of Prevention magazine for more than ten years.

Dr. Wright was never arrested or charged with a crime. The ultimate purpose of the FDA raid was to send a strong message to the alternative medicine community that anyone engaged in nutritional treatments could be raided an shut down, with no legal justification.

 These are just a few very many recorded raids mentioned that have taken place in recent years and they still continue to this day. The real question here is who are the real criminals when it comes down to these illegal and violent raids?

I think the answer is pure and simple, It's the FDA and their henchmen. What is even more concerning to me is that the U.S. Congress supports this kind of activity. Recent legislation has even increased the power of the FDA and even the power of "Big Pharma" too.

According to recent reports, Senators who were responsible for this recent bill have even gotten telephone call after call from their constituents objecting to the bill. However their comments were ignored and the bill was passed by a large majority.

Do you think a new administration will charge any of this? I don't think so.
