There is true magic at play, around this time of year. Do you feel it?
Some people have been heard saying "I don't feel Christmassy yet" - and what they really mean is, the magic isn't in their hearts for the season of goodwill - they expect to feel differently and if not, then why not?!
What if 'the magic' that come with Christmas is just about LOVE?!
What if the feeling that people crave is simply the bubble of excitement that we felt as children - and as adults (some) have forgotten?
I know that as adults we have more responsibilities and many more challenges than we had as children, yet what if.....we simply put these aside to feel the magic and share in what always promises to be awe-some experiences of joy and love and wonder - at Christmas.....if we let simply them in!
Yes, it's simple - and yet not always easy!
Trust your instincts and where the adult-created 'stress' syndrome beckons, cast it aside and choose to feel child-like and giggly and joyful and full of wonder and awe at the smallest of things - like snowflakes!
Many of us have seen snow fall this year in the run-up to Christmas and some of us are currently enjoying that magical White Christmas we hear so much about - have you taken a look at a single wonderful delicate snowflake? This is stuff that child-like awe is full of!
Some of you may be playing in warm sand - that could be seen as snow - and building sandmen instead of snowmen! Still wonder-ful! Still awe-some! The way the sand sticks together to create something so huge and picturesque, so we can enjoy it in child-like fun and innocence!
Christmas IS Love - in all its glory and all its wonder. When you choose to take off the habit of adulthood and wear instead, the invisible cloak of childhood - amazing and magical things happen! Try it - and then share it with those who haven't yet found the magic of innocence - coz that's where I know it lives!
