I'm not the smartest; best looking; best built man in the world - and it doesn't matter.

My children and grandchildren are perfect - and so are yours.

A dog is a mans best friend - if someone else walks him at night.

A baby has limitless potential, and so do I - each moment has the same potential as the last; potential is never lost.

Even if you try your hardest you may disappoint someone - but at least it won't be you.

It's better to listen than talk - my ears are more receptive than my mouth.

Stop worrying about what may happen, and enjoy what does.

You're never really lost - you've just taken a detour from where you thought you were going.

Don't seek perfection, even in yourself - you'll probably be disappointed.

Listen to children - they haven't learned too much yet.

Laugh a lot - especially at yourself; don't take yourself so seriously.

Give more than you take - you'll have less to carry around.

You don't have to try to fix everything - and you probably can't.

These are just a few of the many lessons from my life. I will write about some of them in the coming days. I wanted to close today with just a thought or two. I take this effort seriously, and am devoted to potentially adding something of value to your day. Along with the gravity of that effort I want to point to the need for us all to have fun, enjoy life, and treasure each moment. Life is not confined to all of our efforts and labors. We are meant to enjoy the fruits of those labors, have fun, laugh, and truly be at peace. Look for those times in all the moments of your life, and enjoy them.
