Some will say that they simply don't have enough time. But are you not worth a few minutes a day? Of course you are! You should be able to allot yourself at least 15 minutes per day, just to focus on your own success.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;How Meditation Can Help&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Meditation is an art that has many opinions associated with it and there are also many ways to meditate. There are no religious impositions though; the present moment is available to everyone in every moment no matter who you are. In fact, most religions, in one way or another, agree with the belief of living in the moment, not in the past or future.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Eastern Religions And The Present Moment&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are many different divisions of religion in the East, just like the West. Many of them differ with certain beliefs and philosophies, but many agree on the importance of the present moment.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In recent decades, the West has been picking up on these ancient philosophies and many people use these lessons to help cope with modern problems. Bring the positive emotions from past successes into your present and approach your problem with those positive feelings instead.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Picturing The Future&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In order to strengthen your meditation skills to encourage greater confidence, it may help to picture future circumstances turning out in your favor. When you sit down to meditate, be very detailed in your visions. Use the confident feelings you know you have and place them into the situations you're envisioning. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This activity is a good idea to try if you feel that negative emotions are overtaking you. However, for the most part you should be concentrating on the present moment and taking life one breath at a time. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Staying In The Now&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Sometimes you'll feel negative emotions, the opposite of confidence, when you're overwhelmed with problems. This is when it's especially important to stay in the now.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When you meditate on each breath and focus on the present moment, you'll realize how very simple life is among the complexity. You'll be able to calm down. With a calm head you can then reach for the confidence you seek. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Remember these tips as you meditate:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;• Find a place where you can be alone with your thoughts.&lt;br /&gt;• Sit in an upright position with good posture.&lt;br /&gt;• Fight the urge to take a nap or go to bed.&lt;br /&gt;• Take deep inhales and long exhales.&lt;br /&gt;• Pause in between breaths.&lt;br /&gt;• Repeat a mantra or affirmation to yourself as you breathe in and out.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Meditating Often &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Meditation is an art that takes practice. Just like anything else, when you practice often you'll get better at it. You shouldn't just use the art of meditation when you feel that you need it. Strive to make meditation a part of your every day routine!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Soon you'll find that you won't have to try as hard to reach your meditative state. The object isn't the problem in this case. It is the way it comes to the mind.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you get past this part there are still somethings that are essential to apply the law. You have to compose yourself to feel like the the object is yours. You visualize it. This can be the perfect excuse to day dream. Hey, it helps, why not?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Do not, I repeat, do not worry of the end of the outcome. This can be terribly overwhelming. That is how the human works. We worry about the outcome. If a farmer plants seeds, and there is a drought, he worries about the outcome of the crops. If we make a plan, we worry how our plan will turn out. Again this is worry about the outcome. This does not help..&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The last, is seemingly easy. You should be read to receive the object. There is said to be messages and signs to let you know that you are traveling along the right path to receive. There are basic Law of Attraction steps and if you want to achieve your goals and dreams, you need to understand these steps. The first thing you must do is to know what you want and to be very clear about it. You can not get what you want if you do not clearly know what it is in life that you want. The results will be mixed if you are unclear.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ask&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is step one in the creative process. Ask for what you want. Keep in mind that you have no limits here, you can ask for whatever you want. Also, it is not necessary for you to ask for the same thing over and over because this does not increase your odds of getting what it is that you are asking for. As we move onto the next step, you will understand that you will need to focus on the belief that you have already received everything that you asked for.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Universe is filled with endless options for you. Whatever you would like to have in your life is yours for the asking. It can be about relationships, money, career, freedom, or anything really. The most important thing is that you take the time to be very clear about what you really truly want in your life before you ask the Universe for anything.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Believe&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Step two in the Law of Attraction creative process is to believe. In order for you to receive what it is that you are asking for you must believe that it is already yours. Try to visualize this. Professional athletes do this all the time. Many of the top athletes spend alot of time actually visualizing what they will accomplish in their sport before they even start. Think about a professional golfer who will visualize the shot they are about to make. They will picture in their mind where the ball will land before they even think of swinging the club. This same concept can be applied to your own life by believing that what you are asking for is already yours. Let's say, as an example, that you have asked the Universe for a new car. Now what I want you to do is to imagine yourself sitting in the driver's seat of that new car. Imagine the color, the new car smell, the feel of the wheel...let your imagination take you there through this step.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Receive&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Once you have focused on what you are asking the Universe for, asked and believed that you have already achieved or accomplished it, you must be receptive to receiving it when the universe grants your request. This is probably the most important of the Law of Attraction steps and while this may seem like common sense at first, many people either fail to see the signs the Universe is trying to provide to us, or they are not in the right state of mine to receive. To begin to put yourself in the right frame of mind, you must begin to feel good overall. Be thankful for what you already have in your life. Focus more on positive thoughts, working proactively to remove negative thoughts or to stop them from forming in your mind. Affirm to yourself everyday that you love money and that you are a money magnet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A great way to tell the universe and yourself that you are worthy of money is to always pay yourself first 10% before you pay anyone else. A great affirmation to say is "I am a money magnet and money comes to me effortlessly and easily."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A good idea is to write yourself a check for the amount of money you want to earn or receive and don't just carry it with you in your wallet, look at it and feel good happy and joy about it. What the law of attraction basically states is that if you believe something, it's going to happen. Reality first happens within your mind. Everything you've gotten to this point has been as a result of how you think. If you want something in life, you have to think that you can have it. This very powerful technique can help you focus and develop your current mind power state, so that you can literally 'flip the switch' and learn how to use it; and learn how to increase it, too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Visualizing simply means that you sit down and think of images and pictures inside your head, of things that you want. These images can eventually be brought to life in reality, but first you have to start with yourself and ultimately, your subconscious mind. While totally asleep, you realize that what seems to be going on is actually a dream and you are solely in control of the events that play out as well as the final outcome.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dream control can be a great help to people who suffer from recurring nightmares. The simple, yet powerful technique of lucid dreaming can enable these people to get a full nights sleep.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Common Techniques For Inducing Lucid Dreaming&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A rather effective method known for achieving lucid dreaming involves the use of binaural audio, which entails listening to two different frequencies at the same time in order to synchronize the brain waves, bringing about a deep sense of relaxation, as well as a state in which lucid dreaming is possible known as rapid eye movement (REM) sleep.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Before the availability of binaural audio on CDs and DVD's, the methods of choice for bringing about lucid dreaming were meditation and self-hypnosis; these are effective methods, but it can take a long time for people to master these techniques to the extent necessary to have lucid dreaming experiences at will.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In addition to these approaches to lucid dreaming, many other techniques have been developed over the years by those who are experts in the fields of both science and psychology. But, regardless of the initial method used, the main purpose is basically to train the mind, while asleep, to realize that it is in the midst of a dream.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This training begins while you are still awake. The goal is to remember to perform some kind of cue which will remind us that we are dreaming; this allows dream control to begin.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;You may be able to do this by simply telling yourself as you are falling asleep that in your dream, you will do or say something and then you will know that you are dreaming. Once you know that you are dreaming, lucid dreaming has begun.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This method of learning dream control was developed by scientist Dr. Stephen LaBerge and is known as MILD (sort for mnemonic induction of lucid dreams). This technique can let you control the course of events in your dreams; you are only limited by your imagination!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another means of achieving lucid dreaming is by keeping a dream diary or journal, using a small notebook and pen kept by your bedside to write down everything you can remember in the minutes after waking up. After doing this for a few nights, you'll start to notice being able to remember what you've written and have a similar dream in which you can then begin to control what happens.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When you know how to use dream control, you can dismiss your nightmares and have incredible experiences which would never be possible in the physical world; you can go anywhere and do anything that your imagination can conceive!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As with anything else, though there can be too much of a good thing. According to psychologists and other experts, dreaming is a way for our subconscious minds communicate important messages to us. Your ego often says "that is not true" when you say "I am wealthy" or "I am lean and muscular".&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Your ego likes to argue with you and disagree with you. This is when you need to control your mind and your ego. You have total control. You control your thinking and not the other way around. Now, the key is to feel the feelings of your affirmation as if they have already happened. So it you are affirming "I am rich" you need to feel rich when you say the affirmation. Play the part. Really feel it. When you do affirmations this way and repeat enough, they are pure magic.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Know this, words by themselves have no power. Just repeating words that do not invoke a change of feeling for the better are a waste of your time. Pick words and feelings that make your buzz with excitement and really feel the feelings of having, being or doing what you are affirming.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Affirmations could be just one word. Like "wealth" or "health" or "love". The key is ... does the word change your feelings in a positive way? If yes, then affirm it. I have many affirmations, one of them I use is "love" or "be love". To me, this reminds to be more loving and caring. I will repeat the affirmation until I get the desired feeling change.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Affirmations are a wonderful tool. I recommend you spend 10-15 minutes several times a day doing your affirmations and feel the feelings of having your affirmation now. The real key, as with any technique, is consistent application. Do it. Hailing it as the answer to all our problems, the book discusses and emphasises a phenomenon called The Law of Attraction which is the key behind The Secret. In a nutshell, the basic premise is that what you give out you get back. We all know that magnets attract, and we also know that due to the electrical current we produce we can generate our own magnetic field, however small. This current that powers our mind, and which courses through our bodies using our nervous system as a pathway actually helps us to develop this attractive personality? Discovering how is the real secret !&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Before we explore the secret we need to know where all these goodies come from, what they are and in what form do they manifest themselves. Lets look at the first question, where do these good things come from? The Secret tells us that there is an endless and abundant warehouse, that contains every single thing that we desire, and that these gifts are absolutely and totally FREE (not good news for Argos or Amazon then!!).These gifts are available to every single person no matter who they are, no matter what their colour or religion, or no matter what they have at the moment. So does this fantastical warehouse have a name? You bet it does. Its a name that isnt hidden under dusty sheets in a secret cave, but a name that you and I have a heard a million times before. Its called The Universe. Yes, you read it correctly, The Universe. Ok, so now the fun begins!!!!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Looking at the "The Secrets" key point we find about the secrets of the universe. "I thought the universe was just this big thing in space full of planets and asteroids and things?" I hear you say. Well it is, but its also a gift, handed down to man and womankind to help us get through this sometimes difficult life. O.K. Now I know that this concept requires an act of faith, and I dont necessarily mean in a religious way, but an act of faith in that what you are reading has some element of truth about it and that everything is possible, even the ability to heal ourselves. "So O.K. clever clogs, I'm willing to follow the concept, but whats in it for me?" O.K. what do you want? Do you want more money, a much better job, better lifestyle, a better relationship, better health or all of the above?, because basically you can have it all, no questions asked. "Fantastic, give it me NOW!!!!!, just sign me up." I really wish I could show you how to get it NOW, but unfortunately, and I know that I said no questions asked, and thats true, but there are unfortunately some conditions attached and there are certain rules that we have to follow. "I knew it, here comes the small print, somebody get me a lawyer!" Problem is though who are the real experts that we can follow?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Before we all panic as to what this phenomenon is all about Im going to give an example of one of the attributes needed for this to work which is PATIENCE . Yes patience, that old chestnut. You have to be patient when you ask for something, for a number of reasons, for instance if you asked for an elephant while you were sitting in your favourite armchair and all of a sudden one appeared, then Im assuming you wouldnt be a happy bunny, but if you had the time to prepare for this arrival, and had the opportunity to get yourself a circus tent, trainer and a large waste disposal lorry, then it would be a far less stressful gift. O.K. maybe not the best of examples, but hopefully you get the idea, for now at least.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We are all basically walking magnets and we should be able to use the power of attraction to our advantage. Makes sense! O.K. Now Im not advocating going around and sticking our wet fingers in an electrical socket. That doesnt make sense so please dont try it !! What I am saying is that if we can Change the way we produce our electrical current within our body through a different way of thinking, then we will be able to attract more things to us. If you repeat these statements you will will create positive subconscious thoughts. In turn, these positive subconscious thoughts will create a positive subconscious mind. Your mind controls every aspect of your life.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Once you instate these positive thoughts, they will reinforce the positive image you would like to hold of yourself. Old negative thoughts will be replaced with new positive thoughts on a conscious and subconscious level. This will create a new positive reality and give you access to all the positive energy you have within yourself.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When using positive affirmations, it's important to let yourself really feel them. You need to fully experience the emotions of each one. You must believe that each affirmation is true. This will help your positive changes happen more quickly.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The first 30 days are usually the make or break when it comes to positive affirmations. It takes about 21 days to make a change in your mental image, for some it may be longer. I suggest 30 to be safe. Writing them down until you know them by heart is a good way to start. If you are using them as frequently as you should, it will not take long.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Positive affirmations can be used during personal time in the bathroom, getting ready in the morning, washing your hands, brushing your teeth, before each meal or going to sleep at night. Try to create a time of day good for you, which you will remember each and everyday. Create a trigger, for example, an alarm, using the washroom, brushing your teeth, etc. You can do anything you can think of. I used to tape mine above my bed, in my mirrors, on my refrigerator  door, across from the toilet...you name it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To help further change your thought pattern more quickly, you can eject all negative thoughts you experience every day as you become more aware of them. Your positive affirmations can do much good if it's continually battling negative thoughts and emotions. When you notice a negative thought, just make a decision that next time you will try to be more positive.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Most of us have been programmed from birth to think negatively. We didn't do it on purpose, we simply did it unconsciously. Once you begin to be conscious of your thoughts and thought patterns, you can begin to change them. In the beginning, you may not notice all of your negative thoughts or you may notice them several hours after they have happened. Simply acknowledge that you had the thought and eject it. Don't beat yourself up, that encourages negative thinking. Just move on. After a few days, you will become much faster and noticing your thoughts. It's also a power you can harness to create the life you want.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;By now, we have heard of The Secret. Whether you are one of the millions that bought the book and watched the movie or not, you have to know that it all dealt with the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction, which everyone by now knows that the basis is you will attract what it is you think about, the main point is that your mind will manifest whatever you think about. What most people don't realize is that this happens whether you actively make it happen or not.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In the medical world, this is known as the Placebo Effect; people who are told they're taking a medicine will get the benefits of that medicine even if they're given a sugar pill. This happens about 40% of the time and is something clinical trials have to correct for. Similarly, the adage of 'Mind Over Matter' holds some credence as well. This is how you've seen people think themselves sick, or think themselves well.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For example, how many times has your alarm gone off, or you had something happen that put you in a foul mood, and you've said 'Oh, great. It's going to be one of those days', only to drag yourself into one bad experience after another, with each one compounding the ill will of the former? This is because the Law of Attraction and your own negative attitude are pulling bad experiences to you.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There has actually been a lot of hard scientific evidence to back this up. Quantum mechanics explains that at the subatomic level there is no such thing as matter; it is just energy. Experiments have shown that incredibly this 'energy' only exists because it is being observed. That means that it only exists because of the mind of the observer; this the real power of the mind!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;What a lot of scientists on the fringes of paranormal investigation are thinking is that the Law of Attraction may be in line with other 'paranormal' events, like ESP, remote viewing and clairvoyant phenomena. This doesn't negate the world as we know it; the world isn't made up of our thoughts; but how we interact with the world comes from how we think about it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Law of Attraction works whether you want it to or not. So focus on using it to change your life for the better. That means thinking carefully about your attitudes, planning ahead, and otherwise living a life of contemplation and consequence. We're going to take a closer look at what that entails.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;First you need to have a clear goal in mind. Make it a very clear goal, very precise. Don't just make the goal having a lot of money, give that money an amount. Once you have that in mind you need to direct every mental action towards achieving the goal. Most importantly that direction needs to be constant, not occasional. This is difficult when you consider the fact that in any given amount of time you have 30 different thoughts racing through your head.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The sign of someone who's goal focused is that they're very driven. They work each and every moment towards some goal, rather than frittering their time away in unstructured pursuits. When they're working on a goal, they're driving towards it, rather than do it a little bit, then get distracted by something else. This puts the full power of their mind on the goal, and every little step helps further it. It's one of those things that's so difficult because it's simple. People expect life changing events to be more involved than 'Make a goal, and stick with it.'&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Your ability to shape your life, by actively taking part in the influence your mind has on your perceptions of reality is nearly unlimited. It's limited primarily by what you can imagine yourself doing. At times, this can border on obsession; imagine wanting a new home. Every day you start out with a list of tasks that will bring you closer to your dream of home ownership. You plan it, you think about color schemes and landscaping. Eventually, this will boost your performance at work; it'll encourage you to save, or to cut back your credit card debt.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then, the house of your dreams hits the market. It's for sale. And because you've been planning and focusing on this, you qualify for the mortgage, and the owners like what you're planning with the home. You close the deal and move in and everything you'd been focusing on, all that energy, has helped realize your goal.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's up to you to make your life. You can either sit passively by and let life happen to you, or you can grab it and direct it using the power of your mind. Work on small goals and build up to larger ones the same way small rocks can lead to a sturdy platform to see the world from.
