A good number of people believe greatly in the
power of luck and how it can affect one's life. Considered to be beyond the physical world, luck is something a lot of people, mostly fatalist ones, build their world around. It comes with either positive or negative bearings. An interesting note about luck is how people or things are considered to be lucky. On the other side of the continuum are the ones who have not been blessed to be lucky. They are surely confounded with the question on why some people are not so lucky.
It does not all depend on luck. Almost by definition, there is no point in trying to argue about the real score on luck. Considering the lack of evidence for and against it, we almost always end up lost when trying to explain the reality behind this concept.
Success stories may have talk about the presence of luck up to some point. However, the most common element in success as shown in these stories comes in the form of hard work, perseverance and the will of the person involved.
The real trick does not lie on the power of a charm or a ritual. The greatest factor is on the person's effort to do well in what he is doing. This is a proven fact with enough scientific evidence for backup.
In the Bible, there is a clear indication of the importance of hard work. Man has to work in order to merit the assistance of the Creator. In addition, laziness is considered something evil.
In conclusion, there are no really unlucky people. There is just a lack of hard work, perseverance and patience. No matter how many charms a business has, if the right working attitudes are not preserved, success is nothing but a mere thought. No matter how many rituals a sportsman engages in before the game starts, if he lacks the necessary training and winning attitude, then he is bound for nothing close to success.
