The biggest stumbling block that gets in the way when most of us start out using the Law of Attraction is our own self talk. We all develop an internal dialogue that gets in our way without our even being aware of it most of the time. Sometimes it's downright scary when you take a real look inside yourself and find out what you really think of YOU.

When it comes to the Law of Attraction, most often thoughts of what you do NOT have are what are revolving in your head. Life is rough at times and when you don't have enough, it's really hard to stay positive and not worry about what you're lacking. Other times, things irritate us out of all proportion to the event. My downfall is usually "rush" hour traffic. Ever wonder why they call it that? No one is rushing anywhere. But, I digress.

The most valuable tool you have at your disposal in using the Law of Attraction is an attitude of gratitude. Gratitude is a process. Of course not everything can cause you to feel grateful. The hardest part of the process is to stop what you're doing now. Stop the worry. Yes, there are things you need and want. Things go wrong in every life, but you have to learn to let go of the things over which you have no control. Trying to control the uncontrollable will drive you straight to a padded room. So what are you supposed to do instead? Concentrate on what you DO have. Do you have children? How about a good car? A job? Friends and family?

Imagine life without your children, a way to get to work, your family or your home. Now feel the gratitude for these things that ARE and how it makes you feel. That feeling and those vibrations are heard and answered by the Law of Attraction and the Universe. Every day when you get out of bed, take just a minute to think of your "gratitude list." There are more things than you think that have gone into your successes, even those things you don't think of as successes.

Now the best part of focusing on that you're grateful for is that you immediately begin to attract even more for which to be grateful. Concentrate on what you already have and you'll bring more into your life. Replace the negative view with positive vibrations and you will be amazed at what starts manifesting in your life. The more you do this, the stronger the vibrations are that you're sending out into the Universe.

Being in a constant state of gratitude and taking joy in what you have allows you stay in the moment and maintain the positive vibrations. Those emotions cannot help but draw more of the same. This is the simplest act, and the most powerful thing you can do to manifest what you want and need in your life. Remember to stop the negative internal talk and instead send out vibrations of gratitude and joy. You will receive that joy in return. Just believe!
