What do you think about your health? Is the current physical state of your body a product of your lifestyle or your family's genetics inherited from your ancestral genealogy? Do you believe your illnesses and physical problems are just a run of bad luck? Or, do you believe in the power of the Universe and the principles of the Law of Attraction that state the we are responsible for creating the state of our health with our thoughts and beliefs? There's an increasing understanding worldwide that we do create our own destiny with our personal beliefs and mind sets. The principles of the Law of Attraction certainly explain why some people are seemingly indestructibly healthy and never get sick, while others battle constant illnesses all their life. If you notice the different belief systems both types of people hold and their approach to their lives, you will notice that the healthy individual is happy, focused on the positive elements of his life and has no time for negative considerations. The person with multiple bouts of illnesses will be negative about most aspects of her life and expecting to catch the next bug that comes around. The basic understanding of the Law of Attraction is simple. What you focus on and believe will happen is exactly what you attract in your life. The Universe sends you back more of what you are sending out from your emotions and thoughts. When your negative emotions or fears get the upper hand on your belief system and start sending a negative frequency to the Universe, a whole set of related events and situations will show up in your life to match and reinforce your negative mind set. Does this mean that your emotional state or limited beliefs caused you to have poor health or a specific disease? Probably not. Many factors play a part in your health, like eating habits, lifestyle behaviors, genetics and the emotional and mental attitudes you hold close to your heart and refuse to change. Your mind set has a part in this, even though most of it is on the subconscious level. While you might never know exactly why you got sick in the first place, you do have a choice about how you will think and feel about it. Those thoughts and feelings will control your reaction to your illness and you can change those emotions to create different outcomes than you've experienced with other illnesses. If you believe you are doomed to be seriously ill and do nothing to change your belief system into something more positive, like a mental image of your recovery and stronger health, you will not improve your health one bit. Different outcomes from recurring illnesses require different emotional responses and actions to old situations. Think about it. If the same health problem or illness keeps showing up in your life and you do nothing about it, you will keep on getting the same poor health. Change the way you think and you will change the frequencies of your life. How many times have you said something like, "My kids always get sick in February," and then been surprised when it happened. If you believe that everytime the wind blows you will get a headache, you will start expecting it when a breeze tickles the leaves on the tree outside your window. The Universe will send you the mother of all headaches to match your powerful expectations. Understandably, it is difficult to pick apart your own emotions and thoughts when you are very ill. To start with, listen to your own intuition and follow your instincts. When negative thoughts surface just say, "No," and create a new vision of peace, serenity and good health. It works. http://www.bybelief.com http://www.robinskeen.com |
Hi Robin, ABSOLUTELY! I was ill because I was not listening to my body or mind and it just got worse. Doctors said I would never get better and to manage my pain with pain pills. It wasn't until I began to study the Law of Attraction and the mind/body connection that true healing began. Over 18 months later I am healthier than I have ever been, on no pain pills and more conscious and happy. GREAT and IMPORTANT post! Stumbled! Thank you! Gratefully, Jenny
