The Realm of Authenticity _ Part II

Karma has become a rather jaded term during the last few years, yet the principal remains the same.... accumulation of actions. Words uttered vocally are the responsibility of the speaker. Every word "exists"as energy and is never lost. Is that a surprise? Consider: the salesman who fabricates the reliability of the product being sold has a personal responsibility for what is being said. The person who puts on expensive seminars and promises to teach new techniques of spiritual healing or how to be more psychic had better know what he/she is doing and actually be able to provide the tools they offer.. When a person has knowledge of one thing, yet distorts that, the alteration of his/her truth creates a negative resonance in the speaker's mind and body. Some people call that effect "conscience". Lying in any form, by separating what you believe to be true from what you are saying with your words, is a dangerous game. Words are thoughts in action. Words are, simply put, an "other" form of energy in motion.

Be aware! The best protection you have against "mental collusion" is knowing when such energies exist. Watch for thoughts, or attitudes, suddenly coming into your consciousness, yet unlike your personal beliefs. Recognize a thought that contradicts your usual mindset.

Do you ever watch reports of controversy over human rights/articles of war? The military learned long ago how to break down the minds of captive soldiers by repeating words, sounds, lights and situations over and over again  They called it 'brain washing". This is still done today in many ways.

Why do you think commercials are played over and over again, without letup? Even educational process back in frontier days taught children by rote - by making them repeat things over and over again so they would never be forgotten. As aggravating as you may find them, you WILL remember the commercials and the products. Notice the repetitious slogans, the music associated with the products, and the voices used, often someone with whom you are familiar from movies or television shows. Notice how the familiar voice catches your attention, if, only for a moment, you stop whatever you were doing to discover what that familiar voice is saying. All of us, since early childhood, have accumulated a category of "voice recognition" in our brain. We often easily "know" who is speaking without seeing the person. Often trust is linked to the voice; we hold the owner of the voice as trustworthy, thus harmless. Commercials use this fact to their advantage....if only for
a moment. It's all the same concept. If you trust the voice heard, you just might trust the rest of the message. Be aware of this practice and refuse to let your conscious brain, or your subconscious, be automatically influenced. Investigate the whole message being conveyed to your ears and knowingly choose to accept or reject the messages.

Subliminal messages are often conveyed in television commercials, tapes, CD's. Words can be recorded under spoken words using frequencies not audible to the normal range of hearing. Subliminals work the same as listening to an actual voice recording, with instructions or ideas being heard over and over again to induce a wanted conclusion. The physical brain of humans  is very much like a computer responding to programming given over and over again. Think of learning to type: with constant repetition, the finger patterns become automatic. Subliminals are repetitious in design....over and over and over, while likes and dislikes are being programmed into the minds of viewers and listeners, enticing them into buying certain commercial products, however also used to change ideas and belief systems. Subliminal verbiage has been declared illegal, however some of the repetitious aspects of color, music and voice are still being used daily.

Many words are being added to our language now, reflecting changes in technology and spirituality. Each technology has its own vocabulary; each category of the working place has its own vocabulary, which makes it difficult for those outside those arenas to understand the language used. Seminars are "notorious" in this respect. Lack of common language can create confusion, or even alienation between individuals and the organization, whose only intention is to support participants.. Adding to that, the many regional words and expressions used by a younger generation can make communication somewhat difficult when trying to get closer to each other. Generational gaps in language can put "older" people in situations where they feel as though they landed in a different country!

LOL (Laugh out loud)....been there, experienced that one! Traveling to other countries can bring those distinctions abruptly to one's attention. Living within foreign cultures is an eye-opener in many ways. Much of our "today" language of technologies is being imported into countries where such words are unknown. Foremen in the field are actually creating new words in their native language to convey meaning to their skilled laborers who are unable to read and/or grasp the techno jargon.....Languages must form bridges for information to pass over....these very bridges are often new words never before spoken, heard or seen in print... .which then means some one must figure out how to spell them....Whole manuals end up being rewritten with the new words, now incorporated into the native language, somehow woven into the original technological lingo.

Change is the ONLY absolute I have found......so far....LOL  (Laugh Out Loud)
