Make a list of the things you want in your life. Now tell me whether these are the things you already have. You may come to this important realization: what you want - you don't have. Seems obvious and also "too simple to matter". Were you ever told "in order to get something, you must want it....want it badly" ?. However what you were told is completely backwards.
The truth is "what you want = you do not have".
Let me put it another way it is the WANTING keeps you from 'having'.
You could tell me you know many examples in which people get things by wanting them. Consider this: "they will never get those things if they keep "wanting them". I believe the reason some people get things is because they changed their feelings and attitudes about wanting anything and have a belief of "deserving". When that happens the process of wanting stops..... and they then attract these things. If you compare their attitudes, before and after having the things, I suspect you will find this difference. It's never the wanting which brings them what they want, rather the change of attitude from "the state of wanting" to the "state of accepting" or having.
The important thing to remember is never how badly you want something. It is exactly how quickly you can identify and maybe decide to shift your attitude.
The longer you keep a thought of want (or lack) the longer you will experience lack.
When you want something you are telling the Universe you don't have it.
The Universe ONLY responds to our emotions/feelings; the only language you can use to communicate with the Universe. Ask yourself what are the emotions you associate with the 'things' you want? If it is a feeling of not having/one of lack, then the universe can only maintain the same manifestation of "lack"/not having. Wanting is a 'not having vibration'... so what you vibrate you attract. The state of vibrating lack/wanting will forever keep you not having.
Wanting is the exact opposite of having. If you 'want' a million dollars that shows you don't have it. If you 'want' a loving relationship that shows you don't have it. If you 'want' a perfect job or career that shows you don't have it. The wealthy never 'want' money.... they have money. A loving person never wants love, they have love. Only when you stop 'wanting' something can you have it.
This sounds contradictory yet true. If you are feeling state of 'wanting', the law of attraction will attract people, circumstances and events to maintain the state of wanting. Wanting and having are two different states of feeling.... which create opposite results. One leads to the misery of lack while the feeling of 'deserving' leads to the joy of having.
Since these states are your feelings you have the ability and the choice to change them. Never forget you are the master of your life. You can decide to live circumstances of lack or you can decide to live with circumstances of 'deserving' to have. It's a decision for you to make. You can fool everyone else, however you never fool yourself and you never fool the universe. Ask yourself, right now, whether you are in the state of wanting or in the state of 'deserving'. Should you feel you are 'wanting', do your best to delete the feeling. Learn to change to the state of having. Do an exercise of Gratitude for whatever is actually already present in your life: people, circumstances, talents, skills, your body functions. Take that FEELING and project it onto the items you now accept as on their way to you because you are vibrating at a different frequency.....that of "deserving".
For example if you say you want a million dollars yet you have never made over $30,000 it might be difficult to feel what it would be like to have $1,000,000; yet if you have ever made even $10,000 in one year, you already know how that felt. Think now about how it would feel if you had that $10,000 in your bank account... free and clear... imagine it again and hold it in your mind as long as you can. Think what you could do today with another $10,000: how would you will feel taking yourself out to dinner , how would you will feel when you pay bills on time... and when you have done that, keep those feelings as a memory you can use. When more $$$ comes to you, mentally note the amount and recall the feeling....You are stacking a memory and adjusting your goal each time to a specific feeling..... keep feeling it with whatever amount you receive. The amount never matters, rather the feeling you are attaching to money....one of DESERVING. Visualize the $ amount changing until the numbers no longer matter because the feeling is one of 'deserving' whatever amount you now receive or think about receiving.....your $1,000,000....Create the shift NOW.
Play a game...ask yourself what someone (YOU) having a million dollars will feel and what/how YOU would spend it.... Make that list and feel how good it would feel when YOU write those checks... Make sure you notice and recall those feelings you had for your $10,000 (or whatever amount you could really relate to).... This is what is meant by being in that "state of having" = "deserving".
If you find yourself back in your daily worries about not having enough, switch to those 'deserving' memories... like changing the channel... the more often you do this, the easier it becomes and the faster you can make the shift. Unless you change those 'lack' feelings you will stay in the same circumstances.....by choice. Change....hard to do? Perhaps, yet vibrating differently does work... so what do you have to lose by changing your belief in some current lack to one of 'deserving' circumstances of abundance ?
The laws of the Universe are constant.... We get what we think about, focus our thoughts upon, much of our time. Thoughts become Things, ONLY and always, ALL ways.
Remember you are part of this Uni Verse. Why do I say that? Because I believe this: "We are the ONE song of Love, individual notes on the scale of human evolution...All composing/comprising the melody of Love".........
