Acupuncture for weight loss is one of many things that can be used for shedding extra pounds as it works on toning the organs, improving circulation, creating balance and harmony within the body improving the functions of the organs responsible for digestion and absorption.

As well as working on the physical level, you must work on yourself. This includes making a decision you are going to loss weight and doing what ever it takes to move in the direction of your goal. Therefore creating the right mindset and taking action every day that supports your goal.

Acupuncture works on the whole body, on the spiritual mental/emotional and physical level. It improves well being helping people become more aware that their body and mind are connected therefore understanding how our thinking effects out health so choosing positive thoughts has a positive effect on our health.

The great achievers in the world do not necessarily agree on everything but one thing they do agree on is that we become what we think about. We have an infinite supply of power flowing to and through us but it is up to us to develop and use it to change ourselves, by changing our thoughts, our feelings and our actions.

This is why many people fail to maintain the weight, they do diets for a few weeks then eventually there old way of thinking takes over and they are back doing exactly the same thing, getting the same results.

Do you have a strong, detailed and compelling vision, an image of the person you want to become. Using cut out photos from magazines is one way of creating an image but imagination is even more powerful. Are all your thoughts, feelings and actions in harmony or direct proportion to that which you want to create. This can take a lot of discipline, to think truth your vision or image you want to create regardless of appearances is the hardest work in the world.

When you lie to yourself enough it has to becomes truth and your subconscious mind does not have the ability to reject an idea, that is why affirmations are wonderful. Deliberately choose your own thoughts. For example I am so happy and grateful i choose only to eat those foods which are healthy for me. Doing this helps you keep your focus on your goal.

Daily tasks must be done everyday to accomplish your goal. Creating good habits will create change until these habits become automatically in your life. It may not feel so good at the start as you are moving outside your comfort zone but stick with it as your mind does not like change but just focus on your goal and never mind the obstacles. Your tasks are stepping stones towards your goal so when the going gets tough the tough gets going.
