Gratitude: Live Each Day well

Today is a unique day in your life! It is different to yesterday and it is different to what may come tomorrow. We do not know how many days we are allotted here, but we do know that the time is limited and we also know that very few people, on their death bed, have ever been heard to say,

You know, I really wish I had spent more time in the office.

If today really was to be your last day on Earth – and you knew that – I would bet that you would not worry too much about how clean your house is, how many emails you have in your inbox or what someone said about you. No – you would probably go and take a long, last look at how beautiful this place is; you would call all your family and friends. You would eat well. You would make sure you did something you really enjoy.

If you can learn to live each day as if it were your last, you will naturally spend those days well. So do you think that is a perspective you could learn to acquire? Live each day well. You are here only once!

Good point, well made. Reminds me of this quote:
“Begin at once to live and count each seperate day as a seperate life” (Seneca)
    Have a great weekend 🙂
