We are – all of us – travelers through time.
But we can move in only one direction. So we cannot go back and change the past. We can only change the future by what we choose to do today.
We are – none of us – the same people we were yesterday.
The person we are today is the sum of all the experiences that make up our past. They have shaped and molded us. But they are not us.
We have – all of us – done things we are not proud of.
But we cannot undo deeds, right wrongs, retract careless words or change the tides. They are memories with which we must live. But we need not be a slave to them.
We can – all of us – become the person we aspire to be.
We inwardly know that we are capable of much more. And we can become much more by choosing to work on our character. We can become the person we need to be to achieve our dreams and live the life we were born to live.
We are – none of us – yet done with change.
We are not, today, the person we were – even one year ago – and we are not the final product of life’s process of continual change. So please don’t judge me by my past because I don’t live there anymore!
