You’ll promise to start a new life on Monday every week and never have time for it, because of the new urgent tasks that will undoubtedly come up. Unless you take a conscious control of your decision-making and your time management, you’ll tend to react to urgent, even if it is not that important, and put important things down the list, unless they carry a sense of urgency. When doing this consider your biological prime time (that's the time of day when you are at your best). Are you a “morning person” or a “night owl” or maybe you are a late afternoon “whiz”? My advice to you is to find out when your most productive time is and use that time of the day for your priorities and hardest assignments. They will seem a lot easier and you will get done with them a lot faster when you are at your best. This will be another step to an effective time management.
In this report I shared the main time management rules and secrets with you. Even if you are the most unorganized person on the Planet by simply following these simple rules you will amazed how much more disciplined you’ve become and how much more free time you suddenly have. All time management skills are learnable and easy to adapt to your personal daily routine. More than likely you will see much improvement from simply becoming aware of the essence and causes of common personal time management problems.
I've told you before and I'll keep telling you, knowing the theory alone is not enough to change anything in your life. You have to put it to practice. Just get started and you'll see how many of your problems will gradually disappear.
