4 Tricks To Keep You On Track

4 Tricks To Keep You On Track

How many times have you started a new project and never finished it? How many new improvements in your life were you going to make, but never had enough willpower to stick to it? How many of us have exercise machines in our houses that are just standing there and collecting dust?

Starting something new is always very exciting, but after a couple of days when a project stops being new, the excitement slowly fades. As a result we move on to a new goal, never finishing what we’ve already started. This pattern of behavior slowly transforms itself into a habit. And we all know how hard it is to break a habit, especially when your willpower is not strong enough. In this report I will share with you a combination of different methods I use to achieve my goals, keep motivated and stay on-track. These tricks I’ve put together for you have proven to be especially effective, because they don’t require you to have steel willpower.

How You Can Exercise Your Willpower Like A Muscle

You’ve heard how you’re supposed to write down your goals on a piece of paper, and then decide on your plan-of-action (the little steps that will lead you to your goal). It always looks very easy on paper, but when we begin to translate our plans into daily life, we sometimes find we cannot overcome the obstacles of our routines and old habits.

We fail miserably because we lack willpower or self-control. You use self-control in the morning when you roll out of your warm, comfortable bed and go to take shower, even though you’d rather sleep for another hour.

In this case you get up because it’s your duty. You realize that if you don’t, you will not make any money that day or might even be fired. That’s a pretty powerful motivation, even for the laziest people, don’t you think? :)

Your family’s well being depends on it, but when you get to the simple things like exercising or devoting more time towards achieving your goals you feel like you can always use more self-discipline.

The amazing thing is you CAN exercise willpower the same way you exercise your muscles (a little bit at a time, gradually increasing the intensity of your workout). The important thing is to do it every day until you form a new habit. Habits don’t require the same energy as self-control. Once exercise becomes part of your routine, you operate on autopilot. Funny thing is, that soon, you won’t need any self-control to exercise your willpower! Isn’t that great? :)

Think about it! All you have to do is devote some of your energy to exercise your will, and it will become a part of your daily routine; your self-control will become stronger every day. You will be a person who has no problem with self-discipline and no problem with following through. And, when your willpower is strong, you can achieve anything, climb any height, live any wildest dream, become the person you are meant to be.
