Jose Silva, founder of Silva Mind Control, developed a technique to use your mind to heal your body. He found that by learning to go into alpha, a state of meditation, you can give your body healing suggestions to function properly and heal yourself. You can do this type of reprogramming by using mental images of what you want for yourself and your body. According to Jose Silva in his book, You The Healer, “Our bodies are equipped for self healing. We interfere with this natural process by reacting to events with worry and stress. We can withdraw this interference by responding to external events with relaxed reactions. We can also harness a healing energy by conceiving positive mental pictures and positive mentally verbalized instructions” It all goes back to positive visualizations.
Yesterday I was watching my son Anton shoot hoops. He used to get about fifty to seventy-five percent of his free throws when playing basketball. But just recently he fractured his right clavicle. It had just healed, but his strength or style must not have been right on the mark, because only two out of ten got in the basket. I suggested he visualize himself in position to do the shot, exactly as he does it, and see it going directly into the hoop. He opened his eyes and landed eight straight free throws!
There is a direct correlation between the choices you make and the health issues you have.
Once your home, your car, your body and your life are clean, organized and energetic, your miracles will start to fall into place, and you are prepared to begin your new life.
You are What You Wear
Even if you’re going jogging in the park, why not throw on a cute jogging suit? As I mentioned earlier, I was to the point of wearing whatever clothes I could get my hands on. This is not the way to go. Ragged old sweats aren’t designed with high fashion in mind; they are built for comfort. But how comfortable can you be when you don’t feel good on the inside?
My current dress code reflects my present state of mind. Things are different now. I occasionally let myself shop for new and exciting looks. I wear clothing that I have bought on my travels, a black skirt with frills and a matching black top. I scrunch up my hair so it is curly, and guess what? It just so happens that I think I look drop dead gorgeous. That’s really all that matters. When you put it on, how do you feel? If you don’t feel good about yourself, go ahead and take it off.
While in Italy, I bought cute tops from the outdoor farmers market. On hot days, with a mini skirt or capri pants, I think my clothes make me look downright delectable.
I love wearing clothing that I have bought in various countries, because when I dress, it reminds me of the trip and all of the fabulous memories there.
