Life Lesson 4: Life TransformationsYOU CAN CREATE MAJOR LIFE transformations in just a few different steps. The first thing that you must do, before you go anywhere, is to figure out where you are now.
I have a very close friend whose life is seriously challenged. She was forced to leave a small moldy cottage and move into smaller quarters, sharing a room in a house with raccoons. She blames her downfall on Bush’s governmental policies that caused higher unemployment, but from the outside looking in, I’m thinking, “we all have the same president, and other people lost their jobs too. But they’re not living with wild animals.”
Thinking I could help, I suggested that if she started to take care of herself physically, and if she created more positive thinking patterns, she might find a better job. Had she focused on this, I’m absolutely certain she would have created success. But she was content to wallow in self-pity.
She was furious at me for “betraying” her by suggesting that her solution lay within. But don’t kill the messenger. I was just trying to help. She didn’t want help though. She wanted me to play along with her blame game and pretend she had no control over the situation. Until she understands that she is keeping her miracles far away with her continued negative thinking, nothing will change for her.
Despite my aggressive approach, I am still sympathetic to her plight—we can all fall prey to the clouds of self-doubt and victim consciousness. For years, I expected my knight in shining armor to gallop through the green woods to rescue me from my mundane life. In the midst of my nightmarish existence, I held fast to this hope. But I eventually had to come to terms with the fact that no one was on his merry way to save me. I finally had to save my own dang self. And that’s really the only way it can be done. The only way out, is through.
Think of it this way, if your DVD gets jammed and you call up your friend, Fred, and he comes over to fix it, what have you learned through this process? When the VCR gets jammed again, what are you going to do? Well you’re going to call up Fred, of course. And if Fred is on vacation, but you really want to see Ghost for the billionth time, what ever are you going to do? Maybe you could just go buy a new DVD, but in life, trading in your problems for a newer model—is not an option.
But if your friend taught you how to fix it yourself, or if you read the manual, or if you would have sweat it out just that once, you’d have the knowledge for yourself. You’d be prepared to face any issue that came up with your DVD ever again.
Well fortunate for you, I have taken the liberty of writing
the manual on miracles. After a lifetime of making mistakes and then learning to leap over tall buildings, I have created a comprehensive guide to teach you how to make your own miracles. This personal miracle handbook will guide you so that you’ll know how to brew your own energy and transform your own life. Are you ready to learn how this all works?
