The Evolution of Dance

The video made me smile and it has recently been quite a hit on Motivatetube which is why it has again come to my attention.

If you pop over there, you can now watch Judson Laipply perform the Evolution of Dance in three separate videos. Although I had seen the first video (the one above) a little while ago, I had not realised how big a hit he has since become.

When the first video was released on Youtube, it got 70 million views in less than a year – wow! The video was featured in the TV show RudeTube and after that people just kept telling their friends – such is the amazing power of the internet.

Judson is a comedian – apparently, an ‘inspirational’ one, and also a motivational speaker and I discovered he even has a page in Wikipedia now. He’s not really built like a dancer, but boy can he move.

A few years back, I posed the following question to visitors to the site:

Supposing you had died and gone to the next place (wherever that is) & supposing your consciousness was still intact. Now imagine you were sitting in the waiting room of that place & you were introduced to the soul (consciousness) of someone who was about to be born. You are told by a beneficial presence that you are allowed to give three pieces of advice to this soul.

Your advice would remain within the sub-conscious of that person and would become an important part of what that person would ultimately perceive as conscience or inner-wisdom. What would your three pieces of advice be?

A number of people emailed me their thoughts and I published them here. By the way, if you would like your’s added, just use the contact form (under the sliding thing, over on the left) and I’ll gladly add them to the site.

Perhaps I should mention here that one of our valued subscribers recently let me know that the contact form had not been working. So if you have been trying to get hold of me, please accept my apologies. We think the problem was caused when the hosting company upgraded our php version, but no matter, it is now fixed.

Anyway, what I wanted to say was that when I first saw the above video, it reminded me of one of my sister’s comments at that time:

Dance, often. Even if you are no good at it and even if it is nowhere else but in the privacy of your own house. It is a joyous and uplifting thing to do.

I guess that’s what Judson has been doing all of these years ;)
