A while back, I posted a short list of personal development blogs that I thought looked particularly useful, inspiring or thought-provoking. I thought it was about time I began my own definitive list of other blogs within my niche, so please, if you know of any particularly exciting writers within the genre, please leave your suggestion as a comment below.
So today, I came across the following personal development blog by Gleb Reys. It is a pleasure to see someone writing with passion for the subject. Gleb is based in Ireland and started his blog simply as a record of his own personal development journey. However, he has been writing on the subject since 2006, so his site is mature and well worth taking a look at.
The blog is organised around what Gleb describes as his four top priorities, which are: setting goals, being productive, staying motivated and being happy.
Here are some posts that I particularly liked:
- One Surefire Secret That Can Help You Succeed
- 5 Ways to Become an Inspiration to Others
- That Which is Measured Improves
On a technical note, I see the personal development site is a WordPress Blog configured using the Revolution News theme. Gleb is a bit of a techie. I can tell that because he also has sites themed around the UNIX operating system and the subject of blogging. The blog, or Gleb, is also a member of the 9 Rules Blogging Community, a site that aggregates the best of the web and serves it up in a single portal as I understand it.
If you are looking for a good place to make a guest post, I notice that Gleb accepts guest posts and indeed he has a special category just for them. Looking through the guest posts, I notice some by people I recognise, such as Mark Tyrell from the Hypnosis Downloads site. By the way, if you are looking for hypnosis downloads to promote, this is an excellent site.
With a Google Pagerank of 3, an RSS readership of 1336 people and an Alexa ranking of 1,219,249 at the time of writing, making a guest post for Gleb looks like an interesting proposition, so it is something I may consider doing myself at some future time.

Hi Will,
Thanks so much for not only stopping by but also finding the time to share your opinion with your readers.
My technical hobbies are well noted too, I think it takes a techie to recognize one though
All the best with your website, see you around!
Hi Gleb
Thanks for popping over. I really enjoyed your blog and it is a pleasure to be able to recommend it to our readers here. You right about me being a techie too; at least in the past. These days, I try not to think about UNIX too much.
All the best,
Will
